>> reporter: this points to the need for parents to monitor. >> if you notice changes in your child and you notice your child isn't sleeping and not going out and seems to be staying up all night, that may be a tip. >> children need to be aware it's like playing russian roulette. >> reporter: some call molly a designer drug, a drug used at raves. >> they have a lot of energy. there's going to be rapid speech. they're not going to be sleeping very well. there's going to be quick movements. >> jaw clenching, sweating, violent behavior, bizarre behavior, panic attack. >> reporter: in the largo molly overdoses police believe the

may have taken the drug from the same batch but it doesn't mean it isn't the same dosage because it's usually made over seas with no quality control. >> users don't know what they're getting because the drug is caught with all kind of chemical compounds and even drugs like heroin. >> reporter: i checked with the sheriff's department to see if they've had an up tick with molly cases and they haven't but they have with synthetic drugs. >> how do doctors test if the person took molly. >> reporter: that's the tough part.

they just have to treat the symptoms and wait until it leaves their system. marijuana was seized, it's street wall was $19,000. reynaldo elastia is under arrest charged with trafficking. orlando police have released stunning video to show just how dangerous a so called routine traffic stop can be. police pulled a 17-year-old over in a shopping center for not wearing a seat belt. when they did not stop, they smashed the window out. the teen drove right into the officer. >> everything happens so fast, i just froze. i wasn't expecting them to pull out guns and just open fire. >> the car crashed and the driver was arrested. he was treated for a bullet wound and is now charged with assaulting police.

car was stolen until after this whole incident unfolded. maritime has reached a settlement with the families. 33 people died when the cargo hurricane joaquin. the remaining 33 families have claims still pending in court. 13 people were rescued from a sinking yacht off the coast of south florida. the vessel started taking in water. the boat's bow was 3 feet in the air. the boat sank in 300 feet of water and now it's unrecoverable. florida fish and wildlife is trying to figure out why hundreds of star fish were found beached close. a half million dollars is being set aside to help pay the

and we saw pretty good warm up today across the tampa bay area. temperatures making it back into the upper 70s. we're still sitting at 61. winds are calm. you can't see the overcast skies though. and we're going to be seeing cloudy conditions for quite some time. not much sunshine in the forecast over the next couple of days. so for this evening, mostly cloudy skies staying with us, temperatures will generally be in the upper 60s if you do have some late evening plans nothing more really needed than a light jacket. a sprinkle is possible as we head into the late evening hours. generally it's going to be mostly dry for this evening. the changes come though as we head into tomorrow morning. storms beginning in the morning hours. temperatures will be fairly mild in the mid-60s and by noon we're in the upper 60s but the story is going to be the rain we're going to see on and off scattered showers into the evening hours. with pockets of very heavy rainfall. again the possible to see an isolated severe storm as well as then we will top out in the

currently dealing with the clouds around. still that area of high pressure dominating our forecast. not expecting much rain for tonight. although we can't rule out a sprinkle over the next couple of hours. there's the front we're watching and this is the rainmaker as we move into tomorrow we'll see scattered showers and storms really starting to increase by the morning hours. there's the front. you can see as we head into tomorrow morning. tomorrow afternoon showers and storms and heavy rainfall. by thursday, still looking at lingering rain. the front still hanging around with a passing disturbance. we're seeing showers. it won't be quite as stormy on thursday. then by friday things clear out nicely. north winds kick back in. cooler and drier air pushes back into the forecast. here's a closer look at what we're expecting. this evening, mild temperatures closer to 70 degrees. the latest rpm model showing at

see showers move in. regardless the showers and storms continue into the afternoon hours. the rain will be heavy at times and we're not ruling that chance to see a few severe storms as well. then by the evening hours, things start to taper off but as we head into thursday, as the front is just south of us with the passing disturbance we will see lingering showers. the rain is not going to be as heavy on thursday. it's not going to last as long. the temperature. >> marc: start to drop. we're in the upper 60s on thursday and by friday, the sunshine returns but also the north winds bring us not just the dry air but cooler air. temperatures will only be making it back up into the mid- 60s for friday afternoon. still some cooler air returning into the forecast. here's our rain totals as we head into wednesday and thursday. a widespread one to 2-inches of rain is what we're looking at. could see isolated areas that could pick up three or more inches of rain. we'll watch out for any street

now to what's making headlines across america. flint residents are still getting billed for poisoned water. that isn't keeping the city from mailing for it monthly. folks are outraged that they are being billed for water they can't even use. >> to make somebody pay for something like that is a great form of injustice. >> we're still getting bills for tainted water. our bills have gone up. the average now is around $200

>> reporter: the attorney general there is looking into what can be done to prevent people from being billed. demonstrators are still calling on governor schneider to resign as they protest the flint water problem. >> and a dangerous situation along the california coast. storms have caused about 20 feet of land near a bluffed fall into the ocean over the past two weeks. and several apartment buildings along the pacifica shoreline are now uninhabitable. a state of emergency. well a dramatic shoot out inside a south carolina barbershop is caught on camera. several customers including children were in a barber shop when the men barged in and demanded money. the customers shot back shooting at the gunmen. one of the gunmen were hit and
