it was a program given to young men to get their lives back on track. there's an oyster park thanks to the tampa bay watch and scores of volunteers. those mesh bags are full of fossil shell. they're placed along the shoreline to create a series of oyster bars. what a beautiful day for them to do it. one of the greatest golfs in the world is in the gay area today helping raise money for a cause that helps children. jack nicholas joined other pro golfers at the annual event helping the first tee of lakeland. they teach young kids life skills by playing golf. charles barkley played. he's a big guy. look at him. this year's event is the largest in the history of that golf outing. >> and we had this dream and this idea we could make this

through the day and sunday, a similar story. blue skies and comfortable by the afternoon hours. we'll top out close to 70 degrees. not too bad. for the rest of this evening, if you do have dinner plans tonight, dress accordingly. we're down to 52 degrees. through the overnight hours, we drop into the 40s. when you wake up saturday morning if you're going to head out early, we're going to be in the low 40s. sunshine to begin with during the day, but definitely going to be well below average for this time of year. on our satellite imagery, you can see clear skies and nothing in the way of cloud cover for today. dry air has moved in and that's going to keep things quiet overnight tonight and chilly as well: we're sitting at 62 in zephryhills and 6 3 in lakeland. 60 in tampa. 55 currently in clearwater. it's cool. we have north winds to the right of our area of high pressure allowing the cooler air to filter in. we'll have a light breeze for this evening, but the main thing you.

tonight. waking up tomorrow morning with patchy frost is possible in our northern counties. we could see that. don't be surprised by it. by saturday afternoon, beautiful blue skies. below average temperature, still mid-60s saturday afternoon. and then sunday morning, another cold start. bundle up, we'll be in the 30s and 40s again, but with high pressure on top of us, it's going to be a nice day. lots of sunshine. we'll make it around 70 degrees. so pretty comfortable by the afternoon hours and for monday, more of our warming trend really begins. is the easterly winds helps us monday afternoon. that's feeling nice and we're looking at a gradual warmup over the next several days, so only into the mid-60s tomorrow, but notice by the beginning of next week, upper 60s. that's ahead of our next storm system. it will be dry until then. on wednesday, we'll track a front with a not

it should be a great day to catch spring training. for this evening, temperatures are dropping fast. so generally in the mid-50s. you'll definitely want to grab a jacket if you're about to head out heading to dinner because by the time you leave, it's going to be colder. tomorrow morning, beautiful sunshine, but temperatures are going to be in the low 40s. significantly cooler than we were this morning. expect a chilly start. mid-60s by tomorrow afternoon. we'll keep it mostly sunny, but temperatures below average, so it's going to stay cool. not a bad day to be in the water though. if you don't mind the cooler temperatures. winds out of the north at 15 knots. a moderate chop on the day. we're looking at dry conditions. the red color you see is the dryer air that's moved in. it's going to stay with us through weekend. also allow temperatures to drop quickly tonight. we're down to 60 in tampa and in bradenton. 57 in venice. coming at 55 in

already cool. north winds, they're going to ease up as we head into the overnight hours and as winds ease up, that allows temperatures to actually drop even more. so that's why it's going to be colder tonight. expect the 30s in our northern counties and also inland spots. some places will be in the 40s with some patchy frost possible in our northern areas. mostly sunny skies, expected all day on saturday. still below average, but with high pressure building in, this is what's going to keep us really nice through the weekend. it keeps the skies clear. blue skies, sunshine again on sunday. temperatures warming up. we're close to 730 degrees on sunday and by monday, with a more southeasterly flow to get the temperatures up. if you're over the cold weather, don't worry. it doesn't last too long. we warm back up. taking a look at this weekend. mid-60s. blue skies and sun sthien. sunday, we're up to 70 and warming back around average for next week. we're tracking
