highlands county involving three separate teachers. they're being investigated for exchanging lewd photos with students. a middle school and high school teacher are each accused of possession of young male students and another high school teacher is accused of sending nude photos of herself to an 18-year-old. >> when you think about it, it's all self-serving and they aren't thinking of another human being but themselves when they do things like this. >> middle schoolteacher stacy child porn. charges have not been filed against the high school teachers at this time. if you are caught with pot in the city of tampa, you could go to jail, lose your license and pay a big fine, but the city council voted to make pot possession in small amounts ticket. melanie michael live at tampa police headquarters for us tonight to explain. mel, when they say small

they are now sending more staff to the tampa office. also as a result of our calls today, senator bill nelson's office and congresswoman kathy commissioner to handle this problem. flying to cuba could soon be easier than ever. today more airlines announced their plans to fly commercial flights to the island nation including some carriers out of tampa international airport. dozens of u.s. carriers applied to the u.s. department of transportation to service delights to cuba. those -- flights to cuba. those include jetblue and southwest. those will be 110 daily commercial flights to cuba. only a selected few will get service flights to havana. our own keith cate will be traveling to havana as president obama makes his historic visit and the rays will be going to play the cuban team.

welcome back. it is the phone call no parent wants to get from the school, there is an emergency and your child is hurt and you need to get there right away. >> one bay area father received that call last week. >> reporter: the father got a call from his 7-year-old son's school saying his hand was slammed in a door. now he has hired an attorney to find out it was not at all an accident. we're not identifying the child. you can see how badly his hand is injured. his father describes getting the call last thursday. >> they didn't tell me over the phone exactly what it was. so my whole way there i just was thinking i don't know what this is or i'm just praying at

something life threatening. >> reporter: the teacher, amanda carranza, has been with the school system since august, 2011. officials tell us she's no prior issues. ryan cappy represents the family. >> i think what would you do if you got the phone call? you send your child to school and expect them to be safe and this happens. what's going on? why has this happened? >> now if it is determined this was an accident, there will be likely no other legal action taken, but if it was done on purpose or if there was negligence involved, it could be the first step in a lawsuit against the school district. expect big changes at target in the coming year. executives say the chains say they are switching their focus on digital working on a way to more seamlessly shop online and pick up at the stores.

64, 63 temple terrace, 62 inverness. cold front just to the north. a few showers, even some thunderstorms back to our west in the gulf of mexico. we are not anticipating severe weather, but as you can see, they could possibly see some stronger thunderstorms with this severe thunderstorm watch for portions of the panhandle. that front will continue to push slowly south. we expect a few showers along the boundaries and make a possibility of seeing potentially a thunderstorm in here, too. snow continues up and down the east coast, specifically our norfolk, virginia. farther south you can see that trailing line there. it's almost kind of an east west orientation which does not usually indicate very strong weather, but a little severe up there. thunderstorms continue to our setting up. we'll keep an eye on those overnight as they continue to move east. we aren't anticipating severe weather, but it's something we watch as we have learned this winter.
