mike vasilinda in tallahassee, news channel 8. >> teachers say the plan discriminates against former educator and those who attended a historically black college that didn't require sat scores for admission. an 11-year-old in a stolen cement mixer led police on a chase. the teen stole a truck and took off. look at him go. they chased him and he swiped several cruisers. then the chase went onto a highway. >> for us, it was -- with a vehicle going back and fourth on 14. we were concerned about the vehicles coming back into that center because it was our understanding it had been stolen. >> now, this is up in minnesota. along with heavy damage to the truck -- the tires on the truck was blown out. the drive was driving on the metal rim for a while.

now to what's making headlines across america. a 2 year-old georgia boy is fighting for his life today after he accidentally shot himself. according to police, the boy was staying with his mom, sibling and another adult at a motel. the boy took the revolver out of his mom's purse while she was sleeping and he fired the gun shooting himself in the stomach. investigates are trying to see what sickened 20 people at a pool. it was evacuated after a chemical incident. 22 people people, most kids treated at a hospital after experiencing coughing, nausea and vomiting. a teen's pilot may have saved his life and the life of his girlfriend. christian was flying a plane when his engine failed causing it to clip a tree.
