because we've seen just blue sky asks sunshine for most of us, temperatures are up this afternoon. it's 95 in plant city, and 94 currently in venice. 93 in lakeland. 94 currently in brooksville. so it is steamy. going to stay that way for the rest of this evening, because we're only go to see a few shower and storms developing. if you live closer towards the coast, generally going to be very nice sun sit for you tonight. as we head into the pretty quiet. any lingering rain quickly comes to an end. and when you wake up tomorrow morning, you should see very little in the way of rainfall. bust it will be muggy. as you head into the afternoon and evening, we'll start to see a little more activity tomorrow, but still only about a 30% chance of rain, i would say, for the afternoon and evening, but more rain than we saw today. heading into wednesday morning, mostly dry. average temperatures in the

upcoming workweek. it will be hot afternoons, won't feel quite as muggy in the morning, we take out that morning rain chance, and the tropics, we do have ultimate areas we're keeping an eye on in the atlantic. son shear look at what just formed from the national hurricane center. we now have tropical depression 7, off the coast of africa. now it does does have enough organization that well- this points, it has been determined it is a tropical depression, but with lower shear around, it's a favorable environment for this storm to develop and possibly become the next named storm be, gus t a an. that storm will be moving off toward this west-northwest. we still have tropical depression fiona as well. notice this is more curved off to the north and east opinion

and it's expected to continue to backen. in the next 48 hours or so, we're expecting this to become a remnant low, and keeping a close eye on what is just an area of vision, still about a week away from end the of the forecast track right now, seasonal a 50% chance of development. we'll keep a close eye on this as this moves off towards the north and west, towards the caribbean. like i mentioned earlier, it's fairly common for us this into the peak of hurricane season. 61% of all storms form in august and september. so no surprise, we're really starting to see things heating up now. we're dealing with some worm temperatures. near 80 to start your day, by the afternoon hours, we'll top off in the mid-90s. bringing your rain chances slowly back up the next few days. right now, just tracking a few showers near the brooksville area. also farther to the south and

around. and we're expecting the rain to be fairly limited through the evening hours. hot, though, 95 on apollo beach. 95 in brooksville. up to 96 so far in wind haven. so for the rest of this evening, just a few showers, mainly east of i-75, as we too head into tomorrow, though, the rain chances start to go back up to 30% for us, and then even higher as we head throughout the rest of this week, back into a more typical pattern each day, and we'll keep that forecast going all the way into this coming weekend. guys? >> southern california is being hit hard by wildfires this summer. >> nasa captured the image of smoke rising from four different areas. fly of them are confirmed fires. you can stively burning images there outlined there n red. we'll watch this story and have more for you when we come back. stay with us.
