are several systems that you're watching. >> yes a couple of them. we lost one a couple of days ago, but we still have 99 l. and the other storm well off to our east, but we're mostly concerned with 99 l. which essentially is not anything in terms of a tropical depression, tropical storm, anything like, that but it is there, and gaston should stay out to see. it is mostly 99 l. that they did investigate with a hurricane hunter aircraft earlier today and did determine strong wind gu circulation at the lower levels. we're seeing the wide spread thunderstorms around this area which isn't uncommon when a system is trying to get going. this is a fairly large geographic area and that's what the hurricane hunter saw today. there you see it relative to the state of florida, basically east, the center east and north of puerto rico at this point. you do see the thunderstorms around the red color. it would indicate the cooler cloud top where is the stronger thunderstorms may have occurred.
