wheelchair. this is video taken from when we first arrived on scene. fhp is doing their best to reconstruct what happened, but the driver told me that man pulled out in front of him and that was basically the end of the story. we'll bring you the very latest on news channel 8 today at 4 a.m. live in pasco county i'm paul mueller, news channel 8. we are tracking the tropics tonight. hurricane hunters flew into a system that may impact florida this weekend. storm team 8 meteorologist steve jerve joins us now. what did they find? >> they found some decent wind gusts but very disorganized especially at the lower level. some stronger winds were disorganized at flight level. let's look at first the big picture, gaston is well off to our east and likely will stay at sea and you did mention the hurricane hunter aircraft

way of low level circulation. it will continue to move to the northwest and likely in a couple days, potentially by friday, we could see this get out over the warmer waters and potentially strengthen into a tropical cyclone or tropical storm. the spaghetti models we put on one map to try to get some timing. that's saturday inun some of the major models have offered very differing opinions over periods of time in as little as 12 hours, so a lot of uncertainty with this track. you have to stay tuned to see how this developments because even the experts are scratching their heads. we have to be patient with the tropics and see how this develops. >> thanks you. sarasota police are investigating the death of a man found in a ditch.
