tropical depression number 9. last week it was invest 99l. an area of high pressure. most of the models agree there will be some northeasterly turn here. you can see the line right there. this line right here gives you a rough idea as to when the timing would be for this. that's with 60 mile per hour winds which is better for us in terms of strength because the southern side would be where the ster potential coastal flooding and moisture being brought in. that's the concern. couple of other things. tropical depression 8 could become a tropical storm for the carolinas. gaston is a hurricane but not e effecting us at all. lot of wind sheer and dry air that blanks space to the northwest of the sewn ter of the system -- center of the

hillsborough river and came to load up on sandbags just in case. >> we want to make sure all of the debris is cleared out by the curb so the water will flow the storm drainment when we had that series of hurricanes i was out there in a poncho with a rake pulling the debris down so the water could flow. i think that's important. >> yeah. let me put it several feet down from where i'm standing this is valerie's home where i was standing last year in basically knee-deep water. she saved some sandbags from last year. but there are a number of locations that have them. i urge you to go to wfla.com and check out all of the locations and what you need to bring to get those sandbags and their hours of operation.

held down a bit. humidity is quite a bit high at this point but we do expect that in august given the time of year. tropical depression number 9 the center of which is southwest to the center of key west. roughly in this area. i talk about an exposed center because we're seeing winds sheer pushing the clouds to the south. that tends to interact with land areas on the northern part of cuba. the forecast position is going move west northwest for the short term. most computer models agree it will move into the gulf of mexico and curve back to the northeast thanks to a trough. there's thursday at 2:00 p.m. with 65 per mile hour winds. because it's counterclockwise

we have to watch the high tideses and the pos -- tides and the possibility of coastal flooding. all this will likely change as the timing and intensity change before any potential land fall. a lot can change. it may take a faster path to the northeast. wintsdz from the national -- winds from the national hurricane center follow the winds of equal pressure. a tightening indicates stronger winds. thursday is when we're concerned for flooding. affecting the coastal areas of north carolina with 35 mile per hour winds. for short term the rain we're seeing right now is not a result of the tropical depression. it's the overall flow coming from the east. and the rain chances with moisture will be higher over

mostly because we will see that moisture and a tropical feature close to florida. still a lot of moisture in the atmosphere so showers can occur during this time period. with a 60% chance of rain. some of this moisture potentially moving on shore. this is one opinion as we get into wednesday tropical moisture pretty good downpour possible on the eastern side of this. 06% rain chance chance tuesday. probably the best chance for showers including the concern for kois tal flooding on -- coastal flooding on thursday. weather conditions return to normal for the weekend and potentially work some drier air into the area. if you've been cheated, if you need help, she's on your side. better call behnken. >> well tonight shannon behnken is trying to help a sarasota

the crook apparently hacked into her real estate agent's email. hacked into the email. changed some account information for a wire transfer. not only is this woman out more than $51,000 but authorities don't seem interested in helping hr out. we've -- her out. we've been talking about this. >> i've covered real estate transactions r decade and i've never seen anything like this. the real kicker here, the victim figured it out and begged the bank to stop the crook but they gave her money away anyway. >> that's the nervous laugh of a woman who just lost $51,000, her life savings, her down payment for a new home. just gone.

>> you're relying on these professionals to protect you. >> you feel like everybody dropped the ball? >> i do. >> apparently a hacker hacked into the email and intercepted the wire transfer instructions. so when she received instructions it was to the scammer's account. and no one at her bank wells fargo caught red flags. >> my realtor called me an even though i had gotten an email. >> hooeshs the shocking part. -- here's the shocking part. when that phone call came the money was still many the account at bank of america. she begged the bank to help. >> we walked across the street and asked them to freeze the account. we were told we were not their customers so they'd have to deal with the fraud department. >> i went to wells fargo and

missed. even when it was unravelled and presented to bank of measuring nothing was done. >> what's concerning is is this customer says she warned your bank that you guys had her money in a crook's account. she asked for it to be frozen and instead you handed the money to the crook. >> the bank will only say that they followed the wiring instructions. she went o the police and the fbi to report the fraud and says neither seem interested in investigating. i called the fibsz myself and was -- fbi myself and was told a supervisor would be calling her today. >> this is very sophisticated stealing that information. >> and the realty company has gone through their emalg addresses to make sure this hasn't happened.
