hanger. trump vowing to win the election. melissa marino, newschannel8. david jolly wants an ad with him buddy buddy with donald trump taken off the air. the ad began airing this week. in that ad, there are many picture of trump and jolly, but jolly says the photos are photoshopped. he wants his opponent to call for the ad to be taken down. >> reporter: and we quickly noticed they had photo shopped my he bodies to put me in a plane with donald trump, shaking his hand, at a news conference together. all are falsehoods. >> jolly called on crist to denounce trump. crist campaign told us he denounced donald trump long ago. floridians will have an extra week to register to vote, a federal judge extended the registration deadline. they filed a lawsuit after governor rick scott said he would not extend the deadline

the new deadline is now next tuesday, october 18th. well, it is a disturbing trend that has reared its ugly head in the bay area. pasco deputies arrested two 14- year-old students in stewart middle school for leaving notes that threaten to kill. investigators provided some of the notes they are accused of leaving on campus. they reference a clown named sprinkles. authorities tell us this is >> because we don't know if they are accurate or not. we have to treat every threat is real. we can't dismiss these threats. >> both teens were arrested and charged with a second degree felony. coming up at 8:00 on great 38, newschannel8's chip osowski shows us what some parents at the school are saying about the whole situation. the man charged with kidnapping a four-year-old will

extradition. they believe they took rebecca lewis from polk county and drove with her to tennessee. there were several sightings and an amber alert. someone stole a weapon right out of the deputy's patrol car in highlands county. car burglars went on a crime spree in a sebring neighborhood and one was an unmarked patrol vehicle. the crooks took off with a rifle, a vest, and a ba someone will impersonate an officer or commit a terrible crime. >> there was no forced entry. we think possibly i remember, left it unlocked. >> it is unclear at this point if that deputy will face any penalties. extra patrols meantime have been assigned to this case. it is is a story you will only see on newschannel8. a music teacher badly injured in a car crash that also

>> reporter: reporting in pinellas park, jamel lanee, newschannel8. today, a red tail hawk named skyler soared into the sky once again. rehab specialists released it at the country club. two months ago it was rescued from the saint pete clearwater airport. it had swallowed a femur bone and had to have surgery. for a while, her caretakers didn't know if she was going to make it. >> there is a time in the four weeks if you wonder on. but we gave it an extra week and actually, she decided to get up on her hocks an then her legs. >> skyler was not the only bird released today. the owl sanctuary set five other birds free. and what a day for it. chief meteorologist steve jerve joins us. it is beautiful out there. started a little cloudy this morning. high clouds. >> and you saw with skyler

as the day went along, we picked up clouds. probably a few more clouds early in the daytime 74 degrees at freedom plaza. that look at the camera is fairly common. we have seen a few passing rain showers. 82 degrees in tampa. the dew points 66 degrees so this is pretty good weather. it is not cool. it is not particularly dry weather. but it is certainly much better than our heat and humidity several weeks so this is a nice change, a nice range of temperatures. you might see extra clouds and a few light showers. temperatures 81 degrees in lutz and odessa. 81 in apollo beach. 79 in macdill and brandon. we will mostly be looking at the upper 70s near 80 degrees this evening and a lot of spots so generally very comfortable with that dew point reading. wind speeds are fairly light.
