hillsborough county including this branch, 20 of them. so this is your branch? >> yeah. this is my main branch. if they close this, i don't know what i'm going to do, probably have to switch banks. >> reporter: maya pedigree was just 19, a student and just opened up her first credit card with wells fargo. >> everything has been pretty great. >> reporter: but now news that branches could be closing in the wake of the $2 million fake account scandal. >> i think it's really unethical. >> reporter: other customers have >> yeah. it's bad news, bad for the customers, too. >> their business ethic is not good. >> reporter: the bank hasn't announced any large scale closures, but some experts say it could happen. we wanted to know exactly how many branches could close in our area. even though we called several times a corporate spokesperson wouldn't provide specific details, only to say that some branches were added here and other branches were added there, but bottom line when you do all the adding and subtracting, there are fewer

missing boater. earlier this afternoon several crews were out there for hours looking for the guy. the missing man was in a rental boat with his fiance and they hit a sandbar. apparently the man jumped out and tried to free the boat but went under and disappeared. two men involved in a violent home invasion and brutal attack on an 83-year-old woman are behind bars. it happened yesterday at the bay west club mobile home club in town n country. one of the men threatened to her with a metal object and took off with her safe. a maintenance worker tackled ricardo tura s and two more men were arrested. look at the size of this recycling plant fire near the ontario airport 35 miles east of los angeles. there are large amounts of wooden pallets and cardboard is fueling the fire.

contained to the plant for now. good news in st. petersburg, police caught the third and final suspected identity thief they've been looking for. isabelle denise dallas was found in pinellas park thanks to tips on social media. we first told you last night her daughter jessica dallas and friend chantel jones face charges, also. in polk county a golf cart shop owner is charged with fraud after ripping off his customers $44,000. shawn marleau is charged with duping at least 13 victims failing to provide them with goods and services customers paid for. the majority of his victims? the elderly and they were not repaid. donated blood tested positive for the zika virus here in the bay area. 1 blood in st. petersburg tested the samples. they test all blood donations throughout florida. this is the only positive test that's come back so far. one blood representatives can

came from. any blood testing positive for zika is immediately discarded and not put with the other blood supply. you might have had some trouble on the internet today. a massive cyber attack brought several popular websites to a standstill. some of those affected included visa, netflix, spotify, twitter and airbnb. the cyber attack overwhelmed a cysting hosting domain names causing legitimate users to have trouble getting through. the source of the attack is not yet a local family turns to 8 on your side after piles of garbage start filling the parking lot of their brandon apartment complex. resident after resident told us the garbage isn't going away, that the dumpster was so full they just brought in a new within and now that one is overflow -- new one and now that one is overflowing with trash and trash is everywhere. this story is only seen on 8. >> reporter: it's one heck of a mess, mountains of garbage

now max defender 8 and your storm team forecast with chief meteorologist steve jerve. >> you can see a cold front passing through the area. things are pretty quiet this area and it looks like it will stay that way. the atmosphere is stabilizing and a cold front especially in northern spots, you know what i'm talking about. 77 degrees for the high saturday, 79 degrees on sunday with sunshine and lower humidity. great shot from bruce mills in oldsmar tonight, a very nice sunset. we did have very dry conditions high above in the atmosphere and the clouds, if any, dissipated with the cold front coming through. 7 a.m. breezy at times, 59 degrees, the coldest it's been in some

sunshine. that's our high for the day, currently 71, again the cooler drier air not quite here yet in the tampa area, but it's showing up in some of the northern spots, 66 inverness, 75 in venice. there's the north/south comparison. as we look at dew points, that's a significant difference between 52-degree dew point reading, drier cooler air to say 67 degrees down here in north port or 71 in venice. that's the humidity south. you can also see it on the water vapor. it's very dry high above in the atmosphere south and north of the front, so not much difference, did generate a few showers over the gulf of mexico. if you look at the infrared satellite imagery, you can kind of make out where the front extend out here into the gulf of mexico, but clearly as we saw on max defender not too much happening in the rain department at the moment. ucf and the huskies are playing up in connecticut noon on saturday, 52 degrees, possible

cooler temperature, 75 degrees for the rattlers of florida a&m playing hampton up in tallahassee. this is fantastic football weather, mid-70s and sunny skies, should be nice across north florida and the bucs are on the west coast playing the san francisco 49ers, 70 degrees in santa clara, california. here comes the front pushing in with high pressure in behind, high pressure the usual routine to get back in that winter routine where cold fronts come through, high pressure builds in and shifts east. for now that tends to draw cooler flow right down the peninsula. that's why both saturday and sunday morning will be cooler. we'll trend warmer heading into the early part of next week. it's all about watching the position of that high, watching our wind streams. you can see how that wind eventually shifts back to the east and that's our warming trend. forecast lows, 56 degrees land o'lakes, temps possibly near 50
