>> reporter: absolutely and good evening. hundred/out on social media and called 8 on your side when they received political robocalls at 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. the group behind the call said sorry. >> for:39 in the morning and usually when it rings at 4:00 in the morning someone is deceased or in jail. >> reporter: good news for dave harris, the middle of the night call call from jail but it didn't make him feel better when he heard the call. >> it was a telemarketer for amendment two and i was upset about that. >> reporter: look online and the list of people not thrilled about the middle of the night wake-up call from the same number goes on and on. the group behind the call, a drug-free florida committee is behind the boat two on two and trying to get them to not support amendment two and don't

they claim the calls were meant to go out in the evening but the vendor coded them as a.m. instead of p.m. >> i am unsurprised. >> reporter: an attorney makes big money suing telemarketers through his consumer protection firm and while he explains political calls are exempt from the do not call list this weekend's robocall is a problem. >> they can report them to the federal trade commission, the attorney general, the better business bureau.>> reporter: still those who got the root called don't think so. >> i have ptsd and i'm awake for a while after that.>> reporter: in good news for people who received the calls. i talked to the group behind the calls and they said they terminated the contract with the vendor so you won't get any more calls anytime of the day.>> i guess a lot of people are saying they will get back at the group for the rude wake-

posts they say they will get revenge in the voting booth. also hearing from the office saying they've received calls about the same thing happening over the weekend. >> candace mccowan live for us. a possible bomb threat delayed a spirit airlines flight at a south florida airport. the plane was scheduled to leave fort lauderdale at 8:15 sunday night was delayed after a passenger he phone conversation. the video on board shows law enforcement taking a man off the plane. the other passengers were left waiting on board while investigators figured things out. >> i understand there is protocols but just to sit there for two hours with the potential bomb on the plane, we

trick-or-treaters can be certain to encounter creatures tonight. >> they can run into werewolves monsters and bloodsucking mosquitoes and mosquito control departments are making sure kids and parents are safe from zika virus. john rogers joins us live from sarasota to talk about preparations. running into a zombie is one thing but bloodsucking mosquitoes we have to be careful of. >> reporter: that's true and it's important to be careful. mosquito control helps in the effort. over the past few days they been preparing and say the

tonight jacqui smith will trick- or-treat alongside her children to make sure they are safe but she is still worried. >> there is zika virus around so it's scary.>> reporter: the cdc said more than 700 floridians caught zika virus from traveling and some were in the tampa bay area. at dusk is prime time for them to come out and bite. the mosquitoes are less active because the days are shorter but they are still active because it south florida. over the past few days sarasota county done tests to make sure zika virus isn't present in the mosquito population. they are monitoring neighborhoods where they are active. >> we can't spray the entire county to make sure there are no mosquitoes so it comes down to personal protection. >> reporter: the department has offered free mosquito repellent and water treatment chemicals to help stop mosquito bites. she was wearing her children tonight. >> if we are getting attacked too much we will come home early and they are young enough
