refocus motor attention on the economy and healthcare. that's go to correspondent mark meredith joining us live from our dc bureau. trump gave a speech slamming president obama's healthcare overhaul. >> reporter: he sure did. he did it in a state we're not used to seeing him campaign in. pennsylvania. when you look at the poll numbers, he hasn't been doing that well. it was interesting he was holding an event there. he is going to go back to pennsylvania for another rally, a sign of how much his campaign is still looking at the map. it's really the final countdown. on the trail today, donald trump wasn't talking about hillary clinton's emails. instead: >> obamacare means higher prices, fewer choices, and lower quality. >> reporter: standing with his running mate, trump is hoping to reach people who are fed up with the system.

doctors are quitting, companies are fleeing, and deductibles are going through the roof. >> reporter: trump's trip to pennsylvania will likely be too little too late to change the gap in the state but other battleground states like florida remain up for grabs. meanwhile, clinton's campaign is counting on major surrogate support. president obama will campaign on her behalf while clinton herself heads to arizona, a state democrats have not won since 1996. meanwhile, a brand-new abc news tracking poll taken since the fbi's decision to review more of the clinton emails is painting a close race. among likely voters, trump leads by one point, 46 to clinton's 45. this race is tightening with only seven days to go. one thing you have to keep in mind when you look at polls

is a tracking poll but the clinton campaign and the trump campaign have to look at a different map. the electoral map. states like florida are so important for the firewall strategy. if they win one, they feel like they can lock up the vote. that's the number they are looking at most right now. >> on monday, the white house says it has no plans to comment further on the fbi investigation into clinton's emails and it does not sound like the fbi plans to put out more information before tuesday. true? >> reporter: we have been trying to read between the anymore announcements from director comey. we know they have to go through hundreds of thousands of emails so this cannot be done overnight but the fbi has not signaled that they plan to do anything different even though both campaigns have said they would welcome more information. right now, we just have to sit tight . >> reporter: mark meredith in our dc bureau for us. with election day just a week away, keep an eye on our 2016

they tested the sale from downtown st. pete to the convention center in tampa. the mayor pushed for the ferry earlier this year. >> we really needed to do something. we can't just rely on cars for transportation. >> the cross bay ferry is finally here. it's a 98 foot boat with a trip between tampa bay. the ride is just under an hour and you never know who you will be writing next to. en program, commuters say it's worth a $1.5 million investment. >> i am looking forward to it because the concern is there is not a lot of transportation options. >> i like to uber but the pricing of this might be less. >> reporter: on the other side of the bay, mayor bacon says it's a win-win for both waterside communities.>> both sides are doing really well. those bridges ought to be conduits to cooperation.

a tight air pressure gradient is kicking up some dust. 17 miles per hour in plant city, 18 miles per hour in tampa, 23 in clearwater. you can see the winds are still fairly strong. this dryer air remains. some of that mixes down toward the surface. because of no intrusion of gulf war atlantic error, it's content to be a little cooler in terms of the dew points. might feel that this evening but mostly clear skies. you just on the cam is not much going on in the way high pressure is our big feature but this cold front will have an impact. this evening, a few clouds streaked across the state affecting mostly inland areas. clouds around here wednesday with a week disturbance and maybe a slight chance of showers in the forecast, just a small chance. partly cloudy skies throughout the day. thursday, thursday morning lots of sunshine, temps in the upper 60s. then we start turning our attention to the north with our

that cell phone shocker after a trip to morocco. they called t-mobile for help but all they offered them was a payment plan. that's when they knew they better call behnken. shannon behnken is joining us to talk more about this. that's like a car. >> maybe even two cars. it's really hard to believe. these women tell me this phone was in a purse and barely used. they say the phone company offered no help possible?>> reporter: julianne was shocked when she received this big phone bill for a whopping $24,512.37. she called me because t-mobile wouldn't budge.>> this has to be a mistake or some kind of fraud. i don't even know how this could happen . >> reporter: this crazy bill started with vacation. julian went to germany and her

zero dollars but her sister michelle, also on her phone plan, when to morocco. >> i was not at all clear on any level that there could be a charge like this. >> reporter: apparently, t- mobile does not have a free roaming agreement with morocco but michelle insists she wasn't warned. her internet she says didn't even work and she kept her phone in her purse. she questions the charges. >> if they occurred in a 24- hour period of time could anyone rack up $24,000 of charges in a day? >> reporter: within 25 hours, the phone service on both of her phones was cut off. but she received no warning that her phone bill was out of control. >> they never tried to contact you to let you know this is happening? >> right . >> reporter: back in the u.s., t-mobile says she owes the money to a moroccan telecom.

saying you're going to have to go on a payment plan . >> reporter: i emailed t-mobile for answers, went to a local store and sent a tweet to the social media savvy ceo. a spokesperson called me back to say they were looking into the situation and within hours, they called back with good news. the charges, all of them, will be waived. t-mobile tells me their customers can roam for free that said, these high roaming charges just don't make sense and a spokesman says the company will review why the situation was handled the way it was. >> at least they cleared up the bill. i am a nervous nelly. anytime i'm traveling, i just turn it off. is that the advice for people? >> that's the safest thing but you can call your company before you leave, make sure you
