5:03 pm
speaking peter. >>reporter: yeah indeed keith. we heard about a 15 to 20 minute speech from the vice- president. this crowd is pretty energized out here. the speech hit on a number of topics you would expect at a democratic rally. he said that the vote across the nation is basically in our hands here in florida because florida is such a battleground state he urged people to go to the polls tomorrow he says if we win here we will win it across the nation. that was his quote. he says break between fear and division. i'm going step out so you can see the crowd behind me it's better than looking at me e. says in the u.s. right now there is hope and optimism and the country is well position todd compete in this world. one wordy used that defines the democratic process and the democrats that are running and that is possibilities. months from now well you can see right now go to the right you can see jimmy buffett the king of margaritaville. and cheeseburger in paradise he's going to be entertaining

5:06 pm
ticket in the presidential race they are encouraging to people get out and vote early. >>reporter: i did take a look at the statewide numbers just a short time ago and so far democrats actually have an edge over republicans across the state of florida in voting early. however, there is a big unknown out there and that is a growing number of people have listed no party affiliation and a lot of them are voting early as well jen. early are election supervisors expecting long lines tomorrow? >>reporter: one of the advantages of early voting. as long as you don't go first thing in the morning, at lunch or last minute when the rush will be on you shouldn't have a problem. if you do have a problem maybe you should have been one of the early voters and you should consider that next time jen.

5:08 pm
that's really the emphasis. the key again is in those ticket giveaways that happy at the voting sites they also get valuable voter information, names demographics addresses for database they can use down the road. >> i know some pep would say how do you even know those going are democrats. you're telling me you can see beyonce' jay-z or spring steen, no matter what your party affiliation you may want to go you got to believe a lot of people don't careut of there was a concert in fayetteville north carolina that they did the calculation afterwards they found that the county wide turn out as a result of that concert was up 16%. and they are betting that the majority of those voters are going their way. >> that's why the biggest concert of them all is going to be in pennsylvania:that's a state hillary clinton needs to hang on to donald trump is trying to any at her heels philadelphia going to be a big turn out.
