donald trump also knows the value of florida votes. he spent time, too in the bay area today. thousands piled into sarasota at the arena to hear the republican nominee. he primarily stayed on message and spoke only briefly about the latest news that the fbi still does not plan to file charges against hillary clinton. >> what's happening is a disgrace and our country is the laughing stock world. with what's happening with our justice, our country is the laughing stock all over the world. they're laughing. >> trump highlighted macdill air force base in his speech while talking about defense spending. he said he would assign new aircraft to that base. hillary clinton also spent the day sprinting between battleground states shoring up support in pennsylvania and michigan today. clinton started in pittsburgh

philadelphia to join the obamas for a massive rally at independence hall. >> what will we decide is on the ballot because although my name and my opponent's them may be on the ballot, everyish -- name may be on the ballot, every issue you care about is on that ballot. >> clinton will hold one morally at midnight -- more rally at midnight in raleigh, north carolina. also in the battle for your vote along the i-4 corridor. senator marco rubio made campaign stops in orlando and brandon where volunteers made voter calls on his behalf. the senator seemed confident heading into tomorrow and there is that quinnipiac university poll that is in his favor. it shows he has good reason to feel good here. seven points is the spread with him leading. he's looking forward to tomorrow he tells us. >> it's been a long interesting

gearing up for an already big day tomorrow, but he now knows his county is one of 67 jurisdictions across the country where the u.s. department of justice will be monitoring in person. despite the extra pressure latimer says he's not worried. >> i have no problem at all with someone coming in looking at our business. we're attraction parent and i want -- transparent and i want the voters to see that, too. >> reporter: lee, miami-dade, orange and palm beach counties ll our state second to those in a number of areas monitored. however department of justice officials won't be the only ones looking over latimer's shoulder. >> we have poll watchers and our personnel in there. >> reporter: plus there will be voter protection attorneys outside to help anyone with any issues. regardless latimer says he is confident that hillsborough's team will do a top notch job as his office has the award to prove it.
