donald trump also knows the value of florida votes. he spent time, too in the bay area today. thousands piled into sarasota at the arena to hear the republican nominee. he primarily stayed on message and spoke only briefly about the latest news that the fbi still does not plan to file charges against hillary clinton. >> what's happening is a disgrace and our country is the laughing stock world. with what's happening with our justice, our country is the laughing stock all over the world. they're laughing. >> trump highlighted macdill air force base in his speech while talking about defense spending. he said he would assign new aircraft to that base. hillary clinton also spent the day sprinting between battleground states shoring up support in pennsylvania and michigan today. clinton started in pittsburgh

for the most part. probably over 1/2 to 2/3 of those who will vote have already voted, but there's still enough voters out there to make a difference and we want to make sure people participate. >> there's another poll that shows marco rubio ahead. it shows the opponent congressman patrick murphy has a one point lead in the race. the polls open in about eight hours. here in hillsborough county we'll see federal election monitors watching out for your voting rights. jenn holloway joins us live from kate jackson park. this is one of the many voting locations in hillsborough county that may have a federal monitor keeping watch. >> reporter: it will, keith. the civil rights division will be here in hillsborough county monitoring the elections process. earlier today we asked the supervisor of elections exactly what it means for his office and what he thinks they might find. >> we're a role model for other offices around the state.

gearing up for an already big day tomorrow, but he now knows his county is one of 67 jurisdictions across the country where the u.s. department of justice will be monitoring in person. despite the extra pressure latimer says he's not worried. >> i have no problem at all with someone coming in looking at our business. we're attraction parent and i want -- transparent and i want the voters to see that, too. >> reporter: lee, miami-dade, orange and palm beach counties ll our state second to those in a number of areas monitored. however department of justice officials won't be the only ones looking over latimer's shoulder. >> we have poll watchers and our personnel in there. >> reporter: plus there will be voter protection attorneys outside to help anyone with any issues. regardless latimer says he is confident that hillsborough's team will do a top notch job as his office has the award to prove it.

temps, 69 currently, dew point 57 degrees, very comfortable temperature dew point relationship for this time of year. 71 degrees in st. pete currently, 63 in lakeland and winter haven. cold front approaching the area, mostly shower and thunderstorm activity, but a long way away from us we picked up some high clouds and midlevel clouds throughout the day, fairly clear at the moment but can't rule out a few clouds overnight, certainly no precip. high pressure feature to the north and we stay in in overall easterly flow. that -- in this overall easterly flow. the next cold front is not building up enough moisture to help create showers and thunderstorms for wednesday. our rain chances are very low. by noon time you can see on tuesday and then by afternoon a mix of sun and clouds, above average temperatures probably about 2, 3 degrees depending on your location. later in the evening a quiet day overall.

front, much deeper moisture here to our west, so showers and thunderstorms out in the gulf of mexico. the cold front will add a few clouds and slight chance of showers, about 10%. it also comes with a bit more moisture. dry stable air is in place throughout tuesday, but as we get into wednesday, some of this deeper atmospheric moisture which helps create showers and storms is farther off to the west. that's not going to help us in terms of rainfall locally. 65 degrees, forecast low ni for tomorrow, so again no reason to stay home from the polls, get out and vote. temperatures 82, 80, 80, the next three days looks great. overnight low temperatures drop a bit thanks to the cold front bringing in slightly cooler and drier air. got a lot going on this week, vote and then veterans day. i'm emcee at florida national cemetery again at 11 a.m., always a great location and the weather will be great.
