is accused of assaulting one of his own employees and she's only 16. >> police are worried there could be other victims. . >> good evening. police are concerned because they say this restaurant owner attacked this employee after only having known her for a couple of days. police say last month palamino hired a 16-year old girl to work at his restaurant. 2 days later he locked up the business and assaulted here. her he quickly ran over to nearby called for help. police are concerned because if he did this to her he could have done this to someone else. >> it was you know, a very brief time that she had actually worked there. and it was -- almost the start of her second shift. >> he faces 3 counts of sexual battery against a minor. if you know anything about this case contact the sarasota police department. an escaped polk county

police found 45-year old flanagin this morning in lakeland. . >> reporter: good afternoon. he was here working at this maiy when he got in one of these trucks and took off. deputies found the truck near sam's club. they spent the night looking nearby. this is video of that search from eagle 8 hd. they finally found him this morning a few miles away. court documents show he was arrested in september for theft, his third convti charge. he was granted trustee status for good behavior. this allowed him to work outside under supervision. >> at any point in time we feel there's a safety concern we're going to let you know. in this case we had one individual non-violent offender who violated the rules of the trustee program and now he's going to bay for it. >> reporter: he had less than 300 days left to serve his sentence.

and it's been a rough couple of weeks for a polk county deputy badly injured by a hit and run doctor. deputy was helping a woman on the median of state road 60 when a driver plowed into them and took off. the woman died. deputy is still in the hospital recovering from a broken pelvis, shattered hip, broken ribs, bruised lungs and a shoulder injury. a family friend tells us he recently worked up happened several weeks ago he is speaking. >> yes, he's still groggy, the medication was pretty strong and heavy duty. so it's going to take -- they said up to 7 days or so for it to really kind of wear off and him feel a little bit better. >> family and friends created a gofundme page for the deputy and his wife who is off of work caring for him. donald trump's transition

arrive and bring us some big changes, but the changes don't include much in the way of rain because of this dry air mass that we're pretty much just been sitting on top of us. so when the front rolls through it won't have a whole lot to work with in the way of creating showers. for tonight temperatures will be comfortable. eventually drop back into the low 60s, there's the front still in the southeast saturday morning so our temperatures will be mild saturday actually in the low 60s and then as we head into the afternoon hours not bad. passions as we head into the evening hours winds will pick up overnight. it's going to be breezy and chilly sunday morning in the 40s and 50s for us. and then as we head throughout the day on sunday with that strong north wind, we're not going to see much of a warm up so temperatures will top out in the upper 60s. the coolest day so far this year and it's also going to be chilly on sunday in kansas city when the bucs take on the chiefs, 44 degrees there

parents can walk through and now they will have annual building health check ups. well the state is currently holding a million dollars worth of u.s. savings bonds left unclaimed. >> and that amount could grow. the state is suing the federal government because as much as a billion dollars could be owned to residents. we have a closer look at the situation. there a million dollars in u.s. savings bonds that belong to residents that have gone unclaimed, the problem the federal government won't reimburse the statement for the value those bonds so now the state is going to court. . >> what we're asking for is to add unclaimed federal saving bonds to our unclaimed property program.

they hope and wait for a sure to this difficult disease. we have some more breaking news right now. we have just learned that there is a settlement in the trump university case. that's according to the new york attorney general. the associated press is reporting the settlement is worth $25 million. that case was set to go to court later this month, in it consumers alleg well an odd sound at a miami cemetery led to the rescue of three puppies. someone heard a sound coming from underneath the vault so they called for help. they saw this adorable face a puppy and 2 other siblings were stuck in a tough spot. they were taken to a nearby animal shelter where they will go up

nearing us but on saturday it's still going to be on the warm side. look for highs in upper 70s, as we head into sunday jackets needed. it's going to be gusty and chilly with temperatures topping out in the upper 60s, as we head into tonight clear skies just a few clouds around in the upper 60s at 9 p.m. as we head into tomorrow morning temperatures will bottom out in the low 60s expect to see plenty of sunshine through the day tomorrow and then we'll top out in the upper 70s, still a lot of sunshine even a just don't have much moisture to work with. at this point on max defender 8 you can see it has --s quiet we're not tracking any showers or storms on the radar. outside at the plantation on crystal river the same is true clear skies 79 degrees winds coming in fairly light and overalso far this month it really has been a dry one for us. we've only

one day so far and that was only 1-1 hundredths of an inch. overnight tonight it stays comfortable temperatures in the low 60s with clear skies. as we head into saturday morning a milder start to the day mostly cloudy skies around and then the afternoon it's still going to be warm close to 80 degrees with a cold front approach approaching. there's the front. rain chances less than 10%. we out a sprinkle or 2. what we will see is our north winds really picking up as we head into sunday morning. if you have plans sunday morning it is going to be chilly, 40s and 50s on the map when you factor in the winds you'll definitely want a jacket heading out the door and really with the north winds all day long we're not going to warm up a whole lot. only the upper 60s by the answer hours and our winds will stay strong coming in out of the north probably anywhere 10 to 20 miles per hour it looks like. so a

head into this weekend and then that gradual warm up as we move through next week. average temperature for this time of the year 78 degrees. so we will definitely be falling below that. won't take us long to warm up though so by thanksgiving we're back up close to 79 degrees, going to be comfortable and another weak front expected to approach on thanksgiving. and we're talking about thanksgiving, cold front and if you can believe it or not hurricane season is still going on. it does not end until november 30th and we're watching one area caribbean. the chances of development are now down to 60% with this system. regardless of development though not going to be impacting us in the tampa bay area. notice our models look exactly like that. they are all over the place. the system barely move at all as it sits and spins there. and the main thing we're focussing in on is that cold front. temperatures are going to drop significantly. this is the coolest area so far this year.
