about the significance of this victory between these two teams. virginia tech comes out on top, but down 24-7, what queued the comeback for you guys? >> i think we just commented down and started playing. obviously notre dame has good players and we just can't help them out. we helped them out a little bit there to start the game off. then everybody settled down and started playing and made some plays. >> kathryn: your quarterback started playing as well. bloody throwing hand on his right hand. what can you say about the today? >> he did a good job. he was a little shaky to start with, but did a much better job taking care of the football, made some plays. can you hear the hokie nation out there? >> kathryn: i can. >> it's a pretty special place, virginia tech. i'm really proud of the way the entire team played. >> kathryn: coach, congratulations on the win. >> thank you. >> kathryn: dan. >> dan: a familiar refrain for notre dame as the alma mater plays in their corner of the end

he and audio exists this case is even more egregious. >> get on the ground now! >> reporter: the video released by the sheriff's office appears to show the only one fighting was deputy wayne wagner. >> i'm not in a fight officer. he slams me up into the vehicle and then he spins me around a little bit and slams me to the ground. >> taylor with physical and emotional injuries, now every time she sees a law enforcement officer she fears what will happen. >> i would be honest -- i died inside. i pulled over to the closest stop and -- tried to get myself together and -- hopefully there is a closest stop so i pull into it. >> reporter: the dash cam video also has audio that captured taylor's boyfriend at the time pleading for the deputy to stop.

hey, get off of her! >> reporter: the audio reveals as much as the video says attorney chris beardsley. >> you can hear the conversation, the radio calls. you could hear taylor's calm response. it was not like when they went down she started to bite and kick and fight back. she remained calm trying not to escalate the situation. >> you didn't touch him? >> not at all. i walked right past him. >> you didn't say >> i didn't. >> reporter: she wonders if prosecutors will go forward with criminal charging this former deputy >> i would like him to be, they were pinning to charge me in that scenario. that would be the right thing to do. >> reporter: i did ask taylor's attorney if he plans on a civil suit. he said at this point it's still up in the air, as for paige the charges against her, battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest,

after the successful launch of goes-r. i saw the satellite up close at a nasa room before it was prepared for launch in late december. this satellite will send back images with four times better resolution than the current generation, like going from a tube tv to hdtv plus it will send back these pictures about five times faster. >> you think about how much has changed in your smartphone alone that we years ago we didn't. now what goes-r and the evolution of the development of the satellite and technology it's leaps and bounds ahead. >> reporter: advance lightning deck text and improved tropical cyclone forecasting will be among the key features. it's scheduled for a 20-year mission. back to you. >> thank you very much. a flight to save a life turns deadly. coming up, an air ambulance carrying a heart disease patient crashes in nevada.

four people were killed when an air ambulance plane crashed in nevada several explosions. that twin engine plane was carrying a heart patient and three crew members to the university of utah. this is cell phone video after that crash. the plane crashed into a mining company's parking lot. the impact caused multiple explosions that you can see in the video. the ntsb and faa are investigating. dozens of barges broke loose today near memphis, tennessee. forcing the coast guard to close a part of the mississippi

scattered a lot of debris there. the coast guard blocked off a 21-mile stretch of the river to traffic while clearing those barges. 26 of them ran aground. no word yet on exactly what caused that. friends and family said finally goodbyes to journalist gwenifill. among those paying respects er eric holder. she passed away monday at age 61 after a battle with cancer. as part of his final trip of his term he met with the president of peru. he's attending the trade summit. also there, mark zuckerberg, facebook ceo. he said bringing the internet to more people would raise

today thousands came out for the shop-a-palooza. shopping for the holidays and giving back to the local economy. >> reporter: shop a-palooza is mp black friday shopping. it started seven years ago when the founder wanted shoppers to keep their money local. >> if you spend a dollar at a local independent business, 70 cents will stay in your community. at a chain store only about 35 cents stays here. the rest goes to corporate. >> reporter: more than 130 vendors were out today selling their unique and often hand crafted items. while all selling a different product they all shared the

we are scanning the skies this saturday evening with max defender 8 and you wouldn't know it but we actually have a cold front sliding through. it's sitting just to the north but with it being a dry frontal passage we're expecting max defender 8 to sty quiet throughout the night. we've been talking about the cold front. slides through tonight, winds pick up behind midnight tonight and certainly for tomorrow. break out the sweaters, for sunday and monday, highs in the 60s and lows, 30s and 40s. we will watch the numbers start to warm up in time for thanksgiving, as we get back to 80. so tonight by 9:00 p.m., 65. we'll have scattered clouds as the cold front slides through. lots of sunshine on tap for

only make to it 67. a beautiful start to the day. take a look, temperature-wise, 60s out there now. the cold air still to the north of our area. 70 inverness. 64 wesley chapel. this is tomorrow morning -- the numbers really going to dive after midnight into the 40s. mid-40s to the north. low 50s to the south an our inland locations. again highs only getting into the 60s during the afternoon. but i wanted to focus in on the wind chill, yes, tomorrow morning a wind chill. this is what is actually going to feel like through the course of the night. by tomorrow morning, some of our northern communities around 40. maybe even a few upper 30s there. again it's going to be cold so before you if to bed make sure you scrounge through the closet and get the heavier jackets.

like low to mid-60s sunday afternoon. here's the frontal boundary there. another big swath of dry air rolling in behind it here. the winds are going to start to pick up throughout the night. so the frontal boundary slides through while we're sleeping. tomorrow morning, 40s and 50s with a stiff wind from the north 10 to 15 miles per hour. and it's going to stay fairly breezy, a bit gusty at times through the day sunday. lots of sunshine. then those temperatures will slowly start to moderate but the coldest morning will we're thinking widespread 40s, even some upper 30s in our northern counties. it will be chilly for guys in kansas city tomorrow as they head up there, buccaneers playing the chiefs, it will be in the mid-40s. so 50 degrees is where we're going to start monday. sunday, rather. by sunday afternoon we're at 67 degrees. temperatures way below average, 10 degrees below average. but those numbers start to warm up in the week ahead, as we approach thanksgiving. in fact we're going to make it
