>> tonight tampa police are still trying to track down a hit and run driver who ran over a little boy and left him lying in the street injured. it happened a few weeks ago and as the boy continues to heal, today he got a big surprise from the tampa bay buccaneers. we show you what happened. . >> good afternoon. that little guy got the surprise of a lifetime. he knew he was coming here to 1 buc place but had no idea what was they took him out to the practice field so he'd get an opportunity to see the field see where the buccaneers practice for the game including of course the game that's coming up on sunday but then a huge surprise, winston and martin came out to greet him. and they took him inside and let him watch some of the play film with the rest of the players. his mom says he's been going through a rough time since he was hit by that car

anybody in that and she said this lifted his spirits. >> he loves playing football and his spirits were so broken thinking he could never play again. and after speaking to the players he now has hope again. >> so as a part of surprise the entire family also got tickets to the game on sunday. so he's going to be here to watch the buccaneers play on sunday. i'm telling you this young man is kind of overwhelmed almost to the point of not being able to say anything. of the most expensive casts in history because all the players signed it. a pinellas county man was busted for riding his boat on a drunken joy ride running into the docks along the way. and he left a big mess behind. >> take a look at this damage at this dock behind me. the boat

deputies say 44-year old robert park was intoxicated while going on a joy ride. he slammed into this dock tearing it up and kept going driving into another dock. >> then he went down the canal came back went that way took a left, took out 7 more docks. >> he damaged a few other boats along the way. authorities caught up with him at a marina where they charged him with boating under the influence and leaving the scene of a crash. officials are still trying to survey all angry just happy no one was hurt. well, a black friday sales are winding down but the holiday shopping season is just getting started and shoppers are not the only ones looking for deals so are car burglars. we spent the day with law enforcement to find out what you can do to stay safe this shopping season. >> the mall parking lots are now packed. did you remember to lock your car doors or even hide

mom has passed away. florence henderson known as mrs. brady on the brady bunch died of heart failure last night. she passed away at a hospital in los angeles surrounded by family and friends. she was 82 years old. and we're going to have a look back at her incredible life and career coming up in our next half hour. an amazing end to a terrifying ordeal. a northern california mother missing forwe she went missing on november 2nd while out for a jog. her husband later found her phone and strands of her hair. she was able to flag down a drir despite being tied up. she is back with her family now and physically she's okay. detectives say they will not rest until those captors are brought to justice.

south carolina today, a judge has found charleston church shooting suspect roof competent to stand trial. he's facing the death penalty in the fatal shooting of 9 black worshippers at the church in june of 2015. the 22-year old had been federally indicted on 33 related counts to the murders. jury selection will now begin on monday. and now for your first at 4 weather, let's check in with storm team 8 here. looking at max defender 8 we are noting one little change for today. we've noticed a couple of these little sprinkles have been able to survive the trek from the east coast of florida so making their way into extreme eastern portions of polk county but don't think they'll make it much further than that. beautiful shot right now where it's 81 degrees. again more of that partly cloudy sky. it's warm all across the area, 82 for
