agencies core holding emergency drills across miami-dade county. they are calling it "operation heat shield". good evening i am walter makaula. the tools are being held everywhere. it is exercise for mass shootings. cbs4's is there. >> reporter: walter, a lot of activity for police and rescue across miami-dade. as mentioned it is just a drill. we are at one of the scenarios here you can see many of the mobile units were several agencies have federal and local involved in this massive drill. miami-dade police and fire and these drills are done all of the time. this is the largest one ever with first responders participating and at least eight scenarios applications including right here at marlins
