carter is announcing he does not need further treatment for cancer. today, he shared the good news with those attending one of his regular sunday school lessons in georgia. he announced in defender -- december that is can have found no signs of cancer on his brain but instead he was still -- but said he was still receiving treatment. in august he was diagnosed with melanoma that spread to his brain. >>a lawsuit will be dropped against ferguson if the city council approves a agreement to reform its police department and its court. the dispatch obtained a copy of the letter. the head of the doj civil rights division said the federal government is prepared to continue with the lawsuit if the st. louis suburb doesn't approve the deal. the city council voted last month to accept the dissent to create ago she do with the doj last year but only if it included several amendments. >>authorities are investigating
