good news for the morning commute there. the temperatures are in the mid- 50s. much like what we saw yesterday morning. as long as the clouds do indeed break up and sunshine starts coming through around noon we'll make it to highs in the low 70s today. tomorrow we have that area of low pressure that works its way across the gulf and into our area giving us a chance for some scattered showers. doesn't look like a washout but definitely increasing our rain chances. speaking of a washout, once this front arrives late in the afternoon on saturday, we are going to see some widespread rain, some heavy downpours, even a few rumbles of thunder, but the front moves through pretty quickly so the rain is out of here by sunday morning. so still on saturday we're in the low to mid-70s and i do think we'll have a decent. a dry hours in the first part of the day on saturday. so it's not a complete washout but like i said, when the rain starts to settle in in your area expect it to stick around
6:35 am
then on sunday we're looking at temperatures starting off in the mid-60s, we'll quickly see them coming up into the low 70s by noon. then they will just start to level off as that cooler drier air starts to filter in. so i'm calling it near steady temperatures on sunday, again, a lot of great dry hours to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather on sunday, but saturday you want to get your outside plans in a little earlier. so that jog or bike ride, whatever you've got in mind. that is florida's most accurate 7-day forecast. find me on facebook and twitter. breaking now -- so many of you are sounding off on the facebook page about the firing of bucs head coach lovie smith. we're really hearing from all sides too. william wright is really not surprising. george writes bad move bucs. the team let him if last night. reporter adam winer is live at bucs headquarters. we're hearing a lot from fans. what does the team have to say?

you can see all westbound -- well, maybe one westbound lane getting through. i take that back. all westbound lanes are closed now as police investigated this deadly pedestrian accident. janelle martinez has your alternates. this is a busy area around usf. your alternates pretty simple however. 50th street to fowler, or take 42nd to bearss, both of those moving pretty good right now. look here at 275 and all the red. 275 southbound, extremely backed up now due to a crash, closer to hillsborough avenue. you can see it here, it's in the shoulder. but we are seeing some onlooker delays, you're looking at about 26 minutes from the apex down to downtown tampa. temperatures starting in the 50s. most mid-50s. still a cool start to the day. as you hit the roads no weather- related issues but i'm watching the low clouds to see if any patchy fog develops now,
6:45 am
by noon we so see a little more -- should see a little more sunshine in the mix, a high of 72 degrees. mostly dry. i say that because there's a slight chance a choir could -- shower could develop but most of the area will be dry today. tomorrow higher chances for scattered showers but it's saturday, especially in the late afternoon and into the overnight that we'll see that heavier rain associated with our next front. we have this breaking news just crossing the wires. french police say a man armed with a knife attacked a paris police station and was shot to death. french press reporting that man shouted "akbar" and may have been explosive belt. stay tuned, gma is next. >> keep up to date withous on our social media. >> and join us back at 9:00
