well, as far as this morning goes, the weather looking pretty decent out there. temperatures are in the 40s to the north. but most of the area is in the low 50s this morning. we do have some warm moist air that's going to start building in later on today. we'll top out still on the cool side in the mid 60s. and the rain chances are very minimal before sunset tonight. but after sunset those rain chances start going up. and we are likely to become stormy at least for a period of time into tomorrow. we'll have more on that coming up. but you know, janelle, that means tomorrow morning's commute might get a little busy for us. but at least for this morning things are looking pretty decent. are you seeing any issues out there just yet? yeah i've been checking the traffic cameras along the interstates, you might run into some construction in fact that's where corey dierdorff is right now right at dale mabry and 275. you can see the construction signs still out there. northbound dale mabry down to one lane right now right underneath the interstate and

and teachers who are so fired up about these issues that they got check this out next to me here, not one, not two, but three buses full of parents and teachers that are going to be departing for bartow for the enough is enough rally in tallahassee. it's actually going to kick off in tallahassee at noon at the state capitol courtyard. they're going to be leaving in just about 30 minutes. this specific group was organized by the polk county teachers' union. and is as the buses head up to tallahassee, i'm actually going to be interviewing president of the polk county's teacher union about whso many people are interested in going up there. what issues they're going to be fighting for and hear from her directly in a live interview in the next half hour as we all drive and begin the trip up to tallahassee, for now live, adam winer, abc action news. this morning a former teacher is now back behind bars. we told you when police first accused sarah moore of having sex with a 14-year-old boy. now they say she was trying to

bond. verizon store and told them that she was in trouble with police. police say the pass code on her phone was then reset. it right now day carecare corker in -- daycare worker is in jail accused of throwing water into the face of a 3-year- old girl with autism. the little girl was playing in lutes and investigators say little page tossed water into the child's face and also dumped it on his head. an aide told deputies and the woman targeted slow learners and children with disabilities putting them in time-out or unjustly punishing them. the daycare owners says no one mentioned any problems with the teacher before. >> that definitely bothers me you know as a parent with any child. you know, you don't want to hear about any child getting hurt or anything like that. and you don't have kids here. >> the school says little page only worked there for four months. she was fired after the

longer goes to the school. a hillsborough county man is in the hospital right now after he was hit by a car in tampa on west hillsborough avenue this morning. police say it happened around 4:00 this morning and they say man was riding along the road and at least two other cars dodged him before he was hit and injured. officers tell us the bicyclist though could now be cited because he was riding in the street. well, we're also making phone calls right now to the florida highway patrol and trying to get you more information about a serious motorcycle crash on faulkenburg around 9:00. we're hearing two people have been seriously hurt. it's still unclear exactly what caused this accident. also in hillsborough county you about yesterday. investigators are now blaming the school bus driver for the crash. troopers tell abc action news the bus made a left turn hit an suv on u.s. 301 in river view and 31 elementary school students were on board.

live look here i-4 at the exit 1 off ramp. as it's 5:12 and you're up with abc on this early morning. we will check weather and traffic with janelle and shay in just a minute. two years since the father was shot and killed in a movie theater in wesley chapel and the case is yet to go to trial. in an interview widow nicole oulson tells me she thought it would be over by now. she says she's trying to be strong for her 3-year-old daughter. she asked about her dad all the time. curtis reeves admits to shooting chad oulson in the movie theater after ability argument over texting. the -- an argument over texting. nicole just filed a civil lawsuit against the land developer, the theater and one of its employees. >> mr. reeves went to complain to a manager about a specific problem. why did he not respond?

south of tampa bay. it won't be until about 8:00 tonight that we'll start to have a better chance for more widespread rain to move across the area. and that continues overnight. tomorrow at 5:00 in the morning, this model is showing that we will be nice and dry. and there's a chance that that will be the case. but then as we move through the morning, we'll see more widespread rain and some pretty on shore. and that's all because of this area of low pressure that's developing in the gulf today. the low moves to our north but as that whole system moves through, we'll see scattered rain off and on through the day and i do think at this point, the way the timing is working out is that from about 8:00 in the morning until about 2:00 in the afternoon, is when we'll see the heftiest storms. the heaviest rain and the strongest chance for those severe storms to roll on shore. so the coastline will be at the highest risk for any gusty damaging winds or even a brief

this is coming in southbound towards downtown tampa. 14 minutes from the apex to i- 4. five minutes from busch down to i-4. and six minutes from i- 4 down to the howard frankland bridge. back to you. 5:16. this morning, an apollo beach man faces 13 citations after officers god a call from someone concerned about his dogs. the owner did not want to use his name but showed us where his dogs lived and he says he keeps them in crates at a friend's house. this morning he argues they are healthy. loved and that he was only cited once. not 13 times. >> outside -- cited for. they have not have a big enough house. which i agree. they do not have a big enough house. that's my fault. >> now according to hillsborough county pet resources, the dogs were allowed to stay because they weren't in imminent danger. flush flush one man who happened to be in the neighborhood took these pictures and he argues the dogs didn't look like they were in good shape. >> the backyard of the house

of dogs and cats and there's no running water and no electricity at the house. >> dj fletcher says he rescued two dogs that were loose in the neighborhood and we'll continue following this story. a near death experience but still a dog doesn't leave his owner's side. >> this is really heart- breaking, despite the loyalty that dog is now in need of a new home right now. dose that you see right here is an 8-year-old bulldog retriever mix. he spent a year at the citrus county animal shelter before he was adopted just six weeks ago. in the same day that he went to his new home, his new owner suffered a heart attack and collapsed. dose licked that man until he regained consciousness. and then that man could call for help. well, the man even left a note for paramedics explaining how the dog saved him. but now that man can't care for dose anymore. and the dog is once again back at the shelter and search of a forever home. >> it's a shame you know, things didn't work out for him.

new information just coming in about the suspect in a florida woman's murder. prosecutors just announced they arrest tad-year-old man -- arrested a 25-year-old man. an immigrant for ashley olsen's murder in florence. >> olsen suffered two skull fractures before she was strangled. they detained daio after dna evidence was found under her fingernails. they left a disco early friday morning and entering her apartment and investigators say he took and used olsen's cell phone after she was dead. new developments coming in
