last week, the u.s. army announcing they are sending 1800 troops to the middle east to fight isis. developing all day, isis claiming responsibility for explosions and gunfire in the capital. so far, we can tell you that five of the attackers are among the seven people killed. you see video from the chaotic scene earlier today. nearly 2 dozen people were hurt. a tower camera above the city caught some of those explosions. >> [ screaming ] >> least have secure that area. the attacks happened in a major us shopping business district outside of a coffee shop. a police security post witnesses at least six explosions in that area and one near un headquarters.

tropical. by the time we get to june, we will start with the b storm. we are in an el nio pattern. about as we head through tomorrow. and not just tomorrow, sunday, as well. we get these disturbances that ride the jet stream coming right on top of us. it is quite now, as i mentioned before. if you have plans this evening, you are looking good but it is the upstream that we have to look to. see the thunderstorm activity? by tomorrow, this will be right on top of us as it continues to the east and very quickly, as you can imagine, it will be on top of us by tomorrow at 10 am and thereafter. watch it on futurecast.

we will get back into the cold air of the start of the work week. right now, we're checking in on that tampa group that bought 73,000 tickets for the powerball last night. obviously, they did not when it $15,000. that splits about $50 each way. the two guys who started it all did so with a facebook group with a $500 buy-in but they wound up with way more tickets kind of giving us tickets like somebody in our watch party last night walked up and handed me 10 tickets and said to add these to the pool. i think a lot of other people did that as well. >> but they are not collecting the cash but they are rolling it over to another lottery option and plan to do so until they hit the big money or run out of money. whichever one. we have been telling you

about the public health emergency in clayton michigan. people are just now starting to get clean, bottled water thanks to volunteers in the national guard work now, we're checking things out first hand. people say that helped that is coming is just not enough. >> reporter: for more than a week in flint michigan, volunteers are going door-to- door handing out fresh bottles of water but for more than a year, the residents may have been drinking water that was contaminated with lead. so many residents are wondering what happens next. outside the fire department, the daily routine starts with clearing the parking lot.>> grab a case of water -- >> the new daily routine can begin. >> this will probably last me a day. >> i have a household of three people. can we drink this is 2 >> yes. >> i don't know if this is going to do any good.>> reporter: fire station downtown is one of several water distribution sites around flint. this has been going on for a

them. >> reporter: the water problems have been going on for nearly 2 years. >> we knew something was wrong with the water.>> water filters! emergency management! >> reporter: the city switched water sources to save money and it has only been recently that the city has acknowledged high levels of lead. and were told -- and residents were told to stop. in the water. residents had to buy bottled water themselves. >> the people are not only mad but sad because we feel like we have been let down. >> it's a hellebore problem and we need to have a response to it. >> the share and other violent -- the sheriff's department and other volunteers go door-to- door with daily contributions. the sheriff says, because no one else was. >> look around and i don't see fema. where are they?

cristie, ted cruz, john casey, marco rubio and donald trump. tonight's debate is in charleston, south carolina. experts say we may see more pointed attacks by the candidates as they tried to stand out with the first caucus or primary just two weeks away. do sugary drinks need help warning labels similar to cigarettes? right now, california and new york are considering bills that require just that with these bills actually worked to keep the drinks away from kids. there is a new study today saying yes. researchers did an online survey with parents of children between the ages of 6 to 11. only 40% of the parents who looked at the help warning labels still chose the sugary drink compared to 60% who did not see it label at all so how big is the issue is now the question. researchers are saying 6% of kids ages 2 to 11 drink sugary drinks every day. the consumer report also coming days after we told you about the latest dietary guidelines.

recommendations say we should limit added sugar to 10% of our daily calories. right now, the american heart association saying we are eating 22 teaspoons of sugar a day on average. it's a crazy number because right now, new concerns are out. also, concerns for dog flu spreading across the country. it has killed by dogs over the past month in the chicago area and more than 1000 are sick. mcnamara asking should you get your pet vaccinated. >> this is actually the canadian influence of the vaccine. a single dose will. >> seven hills is stocking up on the canine flu vaccine as part of the country deal with order line epidemics. >> obviously, not all dog owners forward enough to buy it which caused $20. in fact, some don't even know the flu exists.
