the strong front 245 came in on saturday and because of that, we have a freeze watch in effect, not tonight, tomorrow night. for citrus and hernan doe county with temperatures expecting to drop between 29 and 32 late tomorrow night right on through early wednesday morning. that's not to say tomorrow morning is not going to be cold, it will be very chilly. right now, we are in the mid-to upper 50s across the area. by tomorrow morning, we are expecting temperatures to drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s. this morning, we actually hit mid-30s across our northern counties, 45 in tampa and lakeland, it was a very cold start to your week. wednesday morning, even chillier, so your forecast through this evening, partly cloudy skies, waking up to low 40s downtown, upper 30s and into wednesday. an update on that coming up in a couple of minutes.

>> tonight, a woman trapped in her sarasota county home after a tornado ripped through speaks exclusively to abc news. >> this is what is left, her roof blown off, firefighters pulling her and another friend to safety. we continue our coverage with reporter sara row say row. she is telling us about the moments after the tornado hit. sara? >> reporter: guys it took firefighters two hours just to get to nancy devito. as you can see, the roof collapsed on top of her and another part of the house, happened. thankfully, she lived to talk about it. a total loss. >> god wasn't ready for me. >> reporter: nancy is counting her blessings after surviving a

she tried to run, but it was too late. >> it happened so fast. i didn't have time to really be afraid until it happened. and then i was scared. i thought i was going to die. >> reporter: the roof collapsing, trapping her inside, a pipe bursting feet away and she stuck face down in darkness. water rising, the tornado cutting off all electricity. >> i thought i'm going to drown that's where the fireman had to pull her through and over this defensek to get her out of the house. >> she made it out alive. thanks to a friend downstairs calling 9-1-1, all the while, nancy screaming -- >> finally, i heard someone call my name. >> that neighbor climbing to the roof, all he could grab was her foot, letting her no help was on the way.
