through the spring. a bill to make abortion illegal in florida is moving forward. the house committee passed the bill by a vote of eight the bill by a vote of 8 to 3. making an abortion a first- degree felony and punishable by prison. similar proposals were introduced in past years but never make it to a vote. this year, more legislators are signing on to it. the ceo of the planned parenthood calls it an all-out assault on women. >> never before have we seen such aggressive action. >> under this proposed law, abortions would only believe -- be legal if two doctors agree. or if it could only -- or if it

st. petersburg at 60 degrees. we are actually seeing a jump in temperatures off to the north. a good swath of warmth pretty much all the way through the southeast and the gulf of mexico. not overly cold right now. 32 in billings. they will be up to 32 degrees. and that will be snow across the rockies as this low- pressure area attracts across but we still have high pressure to the north and that means we are looking at a benign weather pattern through tomorrow. we may see a little bit of fog early on. and perhaps, a street shower. a very stray shower by monday. for tomorrow, things are looking good and we will push those temperatures up through

finally, firefighters who saved a dog from an icy lake got a special thanks. >> reuniting the st. bernard. he fell to the ice during last week's blizzard 30 feet from shore. police pulled him from the water and quickly warmed him up. they did receive award -- and award.
