public transit to school. but at jefferson high, these students not only ride a hart bus every day but they like it. >> you're guaranteed a ride home. that's why i like riding the bus. it will take me to a safe place. i don't have to worry about how to get to and from school. i can take the bus and it's available for me. >> reporter: for now they pay for each and every hart ride and the cost is adding up. starting march 1st, with a school id. >> they ride free. you don't have to wonder how your child is getting to or from the activity. >> reporter: the idea is that kids will be able to school activities without picked up. options for them. if they have a situation where they don't have a car or they need to get to a job. >> they can still join that team. it's not an excuse. >> reporter: these students are excited to use the free pass until the program ends in june.

a man accused of robbing a citgo gas station was arrested. he skipped town after robbing the gas station. he was charged with armed robbery. thompson is the man in the surveillance video and their investigation is ongoing. bill cosby was back in a pennsylvania courtroom for day two of his bid to get the sexual assault case against him thrown out. at issue is an unwritten promise of immunity that a previous district attorney says he gave cosby's dead lawyer a decade ago. he is accused of violating a temple employee in 2004. another candidate is out of the race for president and donald trump is demanding a recount from iowa, claiming that ted cruz stole votes. tracy gonzales has the latest. >> reporter: today donald trump once again on the attack. tweeting ted cruz didn't win iowa, he stole it. calling for a new election in

a chance from the severe weather chances. we will get this out of this. i think things once we see the rain arrive tomorrow, it will be showers. maybe a storm or two. but the severe threat as far as i'm concerned pretty much nonexistent. that's a good thing. getting a little bit of rain from time to time is never a bad thing, i guess. it would not be the good thing for the first day of the florida state fair. tomorrow is the first day of the florida state fair. it always rains on the first day. that's how it plays out this year. the morning commute, a few showers early on. lunchtime, maybe a storm. i don't think any area picks up more than maybe an inch of rain. it will linger from the morning right on through the afternoon hours. it really doesn't clear out until about 8:00 tomorrow night. back behind it, we clear out. and we cool off. with highs only in the 60s in the afternoon and lows friday morning back down into the 40s and low 50s.
