as you can imagine they were shakeen to see this crime scene. i could say. >> reporter: kenny wilson shocked to say the least to see this outside of hits front door first thing monday morning. >> it's very concerning. >> reporter: hillsborough county deputies responding before 5:00 a.m. at this home in the 500 block of ja planner drive. investigators say a group of men broke into this home, four men inside at the time. deputies say one of the victims was shot. >> lived here over a year, nothing like this has happened. >> reporter: those living in the community say it's typically safe for families. >> peaceful, people walk dogs, babies and kids down the street . kids playing in the street, playing in the road here. very, typical, you know, community. >> investigators are speaking with witnesses trying to determine a possible motive in this case, they are also trying

75, i-275 this morning. check out this video of an intense car fire that happened overnight. fire officials say the person inside got out safely after the car burst into flames at the himes avenue exit. we're still waiting to find out what caused this fire but told it was not caused by a car accident. we're now learning a crime spree through hillsborough county has finally ended with the arrests of two teens. they are accused of robbing three people at gunpoint and brutally beating one woman. that were the first attack at the foxcroft apartments at carolwood early sunday morning. vanessa martinez says she was walking from her car to her apartment when she was jumped, a man demanded her purse, she resisted, a second man came, the two beat her with a pistol. then they took her purse, cell phone, keys and shoes. >> at that time i tried to turned around, he pulled his gun out on me so i paused and looked.

>> deputies arrived to investigate, they heard more shots fired just down the road in that same apartment complex. that's where a man was beaten and robbed, bullets fished through list front door hitting his roommate in the leg. the crime spree continued at a neighboring apartment complex, beating an stealing from a third victim before getting caught. covering pinellas county -- two young boys nearly drowned in the same community. the first scary scene happened saturday evening in clearwater. deputies say a 1-year-old wandered off and 30 seconds later his father found him face down in a drum of water. meant for a fish farm. that toddler is in the hospital now, we're hearing his injuries are life threatening. detectives say this appears to be a horrible accident. meanwhile the second near drowning happened around 10:30 yesterday morning at a backyard pool in clearwater. a 2-year-old in this case was found in a pool unresponsive. that boy rushed to a hospital where he's now listed in critical condition. in democracy 2016 -- the fight for florida heating up

weather but we have lost a little sunshine. the reason for that is a southeast flow. not raining yet but i think by later this afternoon and into the evening hours a few pop-up showers that is from the southeasterly flow. we'll have futurecast in a second. i want to widen the shot to show you what is coming tonight and into tomorrow morning. that is a heavy line of showers and storms. the severe weather threat mainly going to be in the panhandle here, that could be rumbles of thunder overnight and into the early part of tomorrow. i think my concern will be the heavy rain and the issue because of the timing with the morning commute. so today, not the front, the southeast flow, there we go, by the time we get into the afternoon a couple of showers beginning to buckle up, 20%, to 30% coverage, that's bit. then look upstream through the north and west in the overnight that is when we see the line approaching. and there's the timing, from 4:00, to 5:00, line of heavy showers and storms. nothing severe at this point but does come in at a particular time, when a lot of us are going to be on the roadways.

good dog. what a difference the rest of that goes -- this time yesterday, anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees cooler. look at this, 5 to 10 degrees warmer this morning, that puts us in the low 60s. climbing this afternoon, low 70s despite the clouds. in fact even showers by the time we get to the latter part of the day. coverage 20%. but we have a stronger line of showers and storms that rolls in tonight into early tomorrow. we'll have the timing and intensity coming up. 9:34. troubling find near the albuquerque, new mexico airport. officials working to figure out who attached a bomb to a rental car. investigators say that device was attached to an avis budget rental car, a mechanic saw it when putting it up on a lift yesterday morning. police bomb squad later disabled that device. the incident didn't affect flights into or out of the airport. everything is scheduled as normal today. officials are not commenting on whether or not this was an act of terrorism.

rented that car. trimming trees of course can be a dangerous job, one oregon man is lucky to be alive after he got pulled into a wood chipper over the weekend. police say that pan was yanked into the chipper after his harness got stuck in tree limbs being fed into the chipper friday. miraculously his leg tripped the safety bar at the last minute and shut the chipper off. officials say the blades were just inches from his head when the machine stopped. he still broke his leg and suffered a headier but he is search teams are looking for the father of a bride who disappeared after a weekend california. saturday, witnesses say they last saw him walking near a bridge near a rental mansion where the reception was being held. the newlyweds said he seemed depressed since arriving in the u.s. from india last month. >> sounded like he was -- a back to india.

9:42. police in california are still looking for the people that fired blow darts at two toursists walking along the iconic golden gate bridge. one dart became lodged in a man's leg, the other hit a woman's knee cap. fortunately both victims are fine but the highway patrol in california says they've never seen anything like this before. they are stumped as to why someone would target these people. officers are now testing the darts to make sure they were not dipped in a dangerous chemical. this morning police are looking into allegations that former new york governor eliot spitzer attacked a woman. the victim told police spitzer choked her in his room at new york's plaza hotel saturday. sources say police are investigating the incident as a possible assault case. spitzer hasn't commented on the allegations. ikea is facing serious accusations now, there are
