talk with their kids and limit app usage. >> better to be a good rent and take away that availability. >> reporter: because this could save their lives. police are still looking for the driver in that video and call them with information if you have it. and there is a warning on the app saying before you drive, never snap and drive. instructors say it's better for parents to limit that app usage. a polk county woman who streamed her night of drunk driving live on periscope won't spend any time in prison, making a deal with prosecutors tonight and pleading no contest to dui. she'll have to perform 150 hours of community service, work for the sheriff's office for ten days and serve a year probation.

and alcohol treatment program, banned from visiting any bars and will have her license suspended for six months. a search is underway for the woman seen in this monitor, highway patrol troopers saying she ran down and killed a tow truck driver on the howard frankland bridge this morning and kept going. >> reporter: search efforts have been going on for about 16 hours after happening here on the howard frankland bridge behind me. troopers are now looking for allison hoffman, who they say drove off after hitting that tow truck driver who stopped to help two people stranded on the side of the road. video we shot, you can see pictures taken by the florida highway patrol of her car that was left damaged at the crown plaza hotel on west shore.

no one has seen her since. we checked and learned she has a long criminal history, mostly behind the wheel, including three duis in hillsborough county alone, and a careless driving charge in charlotte county. we are told the tow truck driver, known as roger perez, was a husband and father. his wife and child are still in venezuela. now there are many questions as to how she was able to drive after so many duis. >> why are we allowing this to happen? why are we so lenient? why is this incredible human being dead? >> reporter: many questions left to answer still for perez's family, too upset to speak on camera today. hoffman's family told us to leave when we stopped by their house.

where she may be, call police. >> this is just the latest in a trend across florida, new numbers tonight showing hit-and- runs in florida went up in 2015. officers investigated more than 92,000 hit-and-run crashes in 2015, more than 7500 more than 2014. those crashes killed 186 people last year, equal to one person dying in a crash every other day. a tampa woman went out of her way to drive the wrong direction on i-4. officers tell us alexandra luckem went the wrong way on the i-4 ramp and even pulled up to the wrong way sign then drove around it. fortunately no one was injured. good evening, everybody.

responsible after a parks and rec employee found a chevy trailblazer floating near the river hills boat dock this morning. it was taken overnight from a home in plant city. if you know anything, call temple terrace police. a big change is happening now for the thousands of people who use public transportation in pinellas county. after years of debate, williams park is no longer the central hub for buses. the county thinks it will make it easier to get around but not all riders are convinced. >> reporter: the system used to have all the buses going around williams park. now they stop in several locations around the downtown area to pick up passengers. many riders say a lot of problems in the parks are just following them to the new location. jeanie relies on the transit

i seriously doubt we'll have to deal with a watch of any sort. i think that will what happen as this line comes through overnight, it will start to weaken. there's still enough energy for the possibility of some gusty winds or even a brief tornado. there's a tornado warning in effect right now for sections of alabama. this main energy won't be an issue for us at all, just a very slight chance of a quick little tornado offshore, maybe moving on shore. i think the chances are probably less than 5%. temperatures are warm, humidities are high, and there's energy out there. then you get a little twisting in the atmosphere as the winds go up, then you're talking about the possibility of gusty winds, maybe a bit of rotation and pretty decent rain. but we'll time this out nicely because most of this is going on while you're sleeping. outside of maybe waking up for

outside, i think it will be nice. today we hit 74, which is above normal. that's a change as of late and everyone with the cloud cover we warmed into the 70s. we'll stay in the 70s because this cold front is not nearly as cold for us as what's going on up north. the moisture is obviously returning quickly and as this front comes through, it will push that out of the way into tomorrow afternoon. this evening as we said, there are a few showers across the interior counties, most of them not an issue, certainly nothing severe, no thunder or lightning. by the time we hit midnight or 1:00 a.m., all of a sudden the northern counties will start seeing the rain. about 3:00 a.m., i think it's going to be pulling into the metro area, pinellas, hillsborough and polk county. you don't see the widespread weather but there could be gusty winds, especially closer
