authorities hope to make more about a dozen more. agents from a multiagency task force are searching for 13 violent drug suspects. they just wrapped up a four month long undercover operation. they arrested 30 suspects and recovers guns and drugs. deputies say the operation targeting suspects behind an up tick in violent gun crime. >> how one man helped catch a robber who reeled in his victim through craig's list. he wanted to find a buy. -- buy a phone. they met up in a neighborhood and, therejo say it is suspect took his $06 wanted it phone back. >> then i said okay, thank you. -- he went like -- he said oh, give me the phone. it was like what. >> then, therejo says he realized the man had a gun

car near his house and then he stopped on the front porch lighting the furniture on fire and then he knocks on the front door. the deputy answered with his gun and two dogs. while hall wasn't hurt, the passco sheriff had this stern warning. >> if you try to break into a house, we will use any force necessary to stop you and drop you. >> he's facingburg lair and arson charges. deputy lennox was involved in a shooting ten days ago but it is in no way relate today this case. this is one of the most daring jail escapes the bay area has ever seen. now 26 years later a convicted killer is still on the run. rodney is live right now from the pope correctional institution where glenn chambers made his break for freedom. any new developments on this very old case. >> well, you know, despite the fact this case is old, as you mentioned he escaped 26 years

in fact the latest was just last weekend. he has been spoted in both florida and alabama, so they believe he could still be in this area. i want to show you guys something. this is a mug shot of glenn chambers when he was convicted of murder back in 1977. over the years they have released composites of what he could look like today. he was serving a life sentence back in 197 a. he escaped from the county jail soon after that verdict but was caught a few days lateer and transfer today the maximum security prison here in 1985 but five years later he escaped once again, able to sneak away after hiding on a delivery truck. get this, another interesting thing to note here, he has a tatoo on his upper left arm, and it has a pretty interesting reading on it. it sates live free or die. i repeat, live free or die, and eight peers that's a motto he has been livering by -- it

we have an update on two big court cases a federal judge is now deciding whether to clay a lawsuit filed against a texas state trooper who arrested a black woman who later committed suicide. planbland's family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit but he is already facing a purgely crash because dash cam shows him escalating. would not be able to defend himself against the family's lawsuit while also fighting the criminal case. the trials of five baltimore police officers charged in the death of freddy gray are now on hold. that's so maryland's highest court can hear appeal case for all five. at issue is if a sixth officer charged in that case should be called on to testify against the other five. >> freddy gray died days after suffering a spinal injury in police custody. his death let to riots in
