and it's only going to go up. folks are going to be flirting with 80 degrees. skies are clear in tam parks clearwater, and st. pete. winds out of the east 10 to 15 miles per hour. so the next few days the only thing you're going to have to worry about saddle bit of cloud cover from the east. that is something we'll be tracking, as we often do. 64 in tampa. there they are, east winds 59 miles per hour. not all that strong. that's huge. if it were maybe 15, 20-mile- per-hour winds, then all of a sudden we'd have to talk about shower. that's not going to be the case. but if you are going over to the east coast this weekend, especially for daytona, tomorrow, maybe a few more clouds. you can even see right there as that cloud cover coming in from the east. what's going to happen is by late tomorrow into sunday the winds veer out of the southeast. you say, well, come on, what's the difference, right? east-southeast, it's huge for

wednesday, then a little cooler behind it the next go round thursday into friday. here we go. mid to upper 70s. look along the beach. you see that green? that's 60s. the reason it's so cool is because the water temperature is 60 degrees in clearwater. so that's where it's chilly. chilly relatively speaking. look at the rest of the area. mid to upper 70s right on through the weekend. there's a look at florida's forecast. 76 on sunday. by the time we roll into monday, where it's 7 degrees, that morning low is going to increase rather dramatically by then. tuesday, wednesday, into thursday, that's where we begin to see some changes. that front comes in, area of low pressure is going to develop. at this point not all that sold that it is going to be a big deal butt certainly brings us the possibility of a couple of showers. same thing on wednesday. thursday and friday we start to cool off again. there you see it. saturday and sunday, make your plans now. whatever you've got planned

11:26 pm
i've got to go with junior. he's got the car and the momentum on his side. kenseth for two reasons. he's got the car and he has success on this speedway. kevin harvick should give the stuart-haas team a top five finish. as for my long shot, ryan blaney. he has been buzzing around the speedway. oh, we've seen it every year. a highly recruited area basketball player leaving home, and even the state of florida to play college ball. what's the reason behind it all? we went over to tampa catholic to find out. the crusaders have not only one but two highly recruited players. one this year, one next year. one headed to the big 12, a conference that plans to expand by two teams this year. >> reporter: the bay area has certainly produced some top-
