area under the tornado watch box. let's get to radar. this is about an hour away now from moving in, with the showers and storms there. there you see the lighter rain, good thing, when you have a bit of rain ahead of it, it toned tends to weaken the storms but looks like a pretty good band, another hour, hour and-a-half before it begins to move in. the reason it's going to take a while to get into tampa, it's because it's moving to the northeast. sometimes these fronts come south and east and we can get rid of them quicker but because of the northerly component we have to get through the entire line of storms that will begin to move in. there we are with the clock around 9:00. moving in through the heart of tampa bay and continuing further to the south and east, but see what happens here. more where that came from. from the south and west. because of that movement. so we'll keep you posted through the day if you're heading out the door now you're fine. the roads are not wet and the storms are not here yet. you have another hour to get
