good morning. breaking news -- a fatal crash in pinellas park has westbound bryan dairy closed right now, a car ran into one of the support pillars at u.s. 19, this happened right under the overpass and burst into flames. at least one person in that car was killed. crews are on scene making sure no one he is was in the car -- else was in the car. they are trying to make sure u.s. 19 is in good shape after the car hit the support beam but for now u.s. 19 is open. again, it's on the map, westbound bryan dairy closed now so 118th avenue where it switches names to bryan dairy closed.

49th street north to ulmerton. take that and then either 66 or belcher to get back to bryan dairy. definitely leave extra time. expect this to be closed the next several hours. a crash just in southbound i-75 in the san antonio area just after you pass state road 52, we're seeing some backup here, just a little one when you get to state road 52 so expect some delays there. not a total roadblock but some lane blocks in the southbound lanes, i'll keep an eye on it and let you know as the morning commute pushes on if you need to detour. ivan, how's the weather today? a little warmer. >> yes, i think we're going to continue with warm temperatures today. a little better than over the weekend. right now upper 50s to around 60. calm under. clear skies. the temperatures by the afternoon will be the -- about 70 to 75. it's going to feel great. inverness now, probably jumped

it's a time of year it can happen. we're going to do it today. titan doppler radar quiet, scanning the tampa bay area. finding a couple of showers off- shore. i think these will disintegrate by the time they move in. in fact what we have is a lot of clouds. very strong winds, not here at the surface surbut up above and it will enhance cloud cover today. not as blue as we had it over the weekend but i don't think we're talking rain either. so kind of a mix of sun and clouds, what we'll call it. tuesday, already seeing the next front coming in across the southeastern u.s. unlike the last several systems it is not a severe weather event for our friends in the panhandle or for us, by the time it gets to wednesday. just kind of falling apart. a few clouds, i think a couple of showers at best that would be about it. dry air though behind it will come on in. so that will feel mighty nice. temperatures are not going to be that cold behind the front but it will be drier so there will be a change of air mass and notice that especially on

we have new information about this grown man you see here. he was busted for posing as a pennsylvania high school student for years. since we first told you about arturo samarin's jaw dropping stunt we learned he's in even deeper trouble for allegedly having sex request -- with a teenaged girl. it happened when he was 22 years old, the alleged relationship with the 15-year- old girl. authorities saying he used a fake name and pretended to be enrolled in high school. at the same time he was living in the u.s. under an expired visa. dramatic video of rescuers airlifting a california man to safety after falling off the edge of a cliff. believe it or not this man was

breaking traffic alert. a car crash living bryan dairy road shut down at pinellas park. there's a close-up of the mangled wreckage near u.s. 19. authorities believe the driver of that car was speeding and ran into one of the support pillars under the overpass causing that car to catch fire. janelle has more. crews are out there inspecting the support beams at u.s. 19 to make sure it's safe but for now u.s. 19 is open. westbound bryan dairy completely blocked. this is where 118th avenue north turns into bryan dairy. so you're going to want to take 49th street north up to ulmerton and take that over. look at 49th, that is getting very backed up. you might want to consider 46th or even 40th street because again that alternate is pretty backed up now. we'll keep our eye on it and let you know as soon as it clears. we have another crash in the san antonio area. southbound i-75 just past 52.

on southbound 75. action air 1, captain al is flying to the scene now. what are you seeing? >> reporter: we're not quite there yet. we're headed up i-75 just crosses over the apex. state road 56 and the headlights you see are southbound 75. a lot of that volume gets on at 54 which you see in the middle of the shot. so we're not quite up to 52 yet but the good news, you're seeing some of the southbound traffic making it this way. as you said there are probably delays associated with this. you heard -- we'll follow this throughout the morning, here's ivan with the forecast. starting with temperatures in the 40s and 50s by later today. we're going to warm up nicely. there's your hour by hour, temperatures in the low 60s early this morning. mid-70s. but a few more clouds. we'll talk about the next front on the way through the middle part of the week. some showers but not bad, certainly not severe weather.

students and teachers are hoping for a smoother rollout of the fsa test after the problems last year including a cyberattack. >> abc action news reporter rodney dunigan live at hillsborough high school now. some parents are refusing to all. >> reporter: that's right. there were so many issues last year that a number of districts were forced to suspend testing. now the department of education has undergone a number of changes to prevent any of the problems this year but there's no guarantee that when students log on to take the test beginning today that they will not run into any issues. the state said the students were required to go on-line to take practice tests ahead of time, reviews of the system also put in place to try to avoid some of the issues from last year. last year the tests were plagued with technical problems, the system was overloaded and some students had trouble taking their exams. the state says the florida standards assessment or fsa

defenses against the cyber attacks. many parents are concerned about possible issues and some simply are not even sure this testing method is even effective, an effective way of measuring student achievement. however, student administrators say the tests are needed and as far as technical problems they are not expecting any issues this year. >> because things will be put in place we believe we'll be in a better position this year than we were in last year's administration. >> we're losing valuable hours, hundreds of hours in classroom instruction because of this focus on passing this test. >> reporter: you see this web site here. this has been key this year. the state department of education required school districts to make sure they load this testing device on their programs at school and run them through a few times with the students to make sure there are no problems. we'll continue to monitor this throughout the day and week.

problems we'll let you know. high school. rodney dunigan, abc action news. meanwhile we just learned your children's experience in the classroom will benefit from a just reached deal in tallahassee. lawmakers agreed to boost state funding by more than $450 million. that means the amount of money spent per student goes up to the highest it's ever been, about $7,200 each for each we're learning a virginia police officer killed on her first day on the job spent time in florida going to school. this is new video of a procession of police cruisers rolling through virginia in memory of ashley guindon. the rookie police officer responded to a domestic disturbance saturday night along with her field training officer. officers say a man in that house wound up shooting ashley guindon to death. she was 28 years old. our abc station in orlando reports she graduated from

university in daytona beach. her former professors learned what happened on a news web site. >> saw her picture and name and immediately recognized ashley as one of my students, and i -- it took the wind out of me. >> two other officers were hurt in the shooting but are expected to recover. the shooter, ronald hamilton, is an army staff sergeant who worked at the pentagon and also accused of killing his wife before opening fire on police. new fallout to tell but, about a middle school resource officer who used a taser on a teen during a fight. that 14-year-old's mother is demanding the entire orange county school district stop using tasers on students. she claims her son was defending himself last week and tased after the scuffle ended. officials at wolf lake middle school in apopka claimed the officer couldn't pull the students apart and used the taser when he saw things were escalating.

action air 1, a crash of a flipped seemi. you can see it to the side. in the san antonio area. southbound i-75 just past state road 52. captain al, what can you tell us? looks like bayflight just landed. >> reporter: good morning. you can see the semi tractor- trailer there, just a little to the left of this shot is bayflight. they are in the southbound lanes as you mentioned moments ago. therefore southbound 75 completely blocked as they get this patient in the process of transferring him from the -- to the helicopter and then depart. so we're continuing to follow this but the backup now is easily about three miles in the southbound side so we're just about a half-mile south of 52, keep it in mind, there's definitely a huge delay up here. back to you. >> if you're heading that way take u.s. 301 or 41 to make your way around that. also following other breaking news, a fatal crash in pinellas park has westbound bryan dairy completely blocked now, so your alternate 49th street or even 46th street to ulmerton road

new information on the violence that broke out during a kkk rally in anaheim, california over the weekend. police have released five klan members arrested after the brawl because police say they acted in self-defense. police are still looking for one man now. police say they were end countering counter protesters. this morning we're hearing from the university of virginia student detained in north korea. otowas arrested in january for stealing a political sign from a hotel where he was staying. he was presented to the north korean media where he confessed to the crime. >> i am begging to the korean people and government for my forgiveness. and i am praying to the heavens so that i may be returned home to my family. >> the north korean government accuses him of being a spy.
