girlfriend robbed and beaten in a polk county park. the manhunt is now on for the the run. >> the couple is in fear the men might return. abc action news reporter marisela burgos shows us the attackers had no mercy not even for the pregnant woman. >> reporter: they said it happened fast, and almost immediately after parking their car in this spot, while it was dark they said they remembered it happened in this area and nowhere. brahim jean baptiste and his girlfriend are trying to shake off the frightening friday night. they were in this park to meet a friend but instead trouble was waiting. >> i got out of the car and was attacked by like five people. >> reporter: he said he recognized one of the attacker's voices, went to high school with him and admits a week ago they got into an altercation. >> they beat me with brass knuckles. >> miranda didn't stay in the car because she wanted to help. >> one person got out.

commute. we'll talk about the next cold front, moves through tomorrow, i'll let you know what to expect coming up. this morning we're making calls to learn more information about an accident. involving a bus. agencies say a car pulled out in front of the bus on west hillsborough avenue and they collided. firefighters say 10 people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. hulk hogan is gearing up for one of the biggest fights of his life. he heads from the ring to the courtroom. suing gawker for $100 million. claims they violated his privacy by releasing part of a sex tape. he apparently used racial slurs. his lawyers will question potential jurors today. we'll be there for opening arguments and they should begin next week. meanwhile, former tampa resident and "dancing with the stars" host erin andrews is now recovering after an emotional day in court.

marriott for $75 million after a stalker modified the peep hole in her hotel room and shot video of her as she changed clothes. she broke down describing the moment she first saw the video of her naked body over the internet. >> i was like oh my god. i shut it down -- i'm naked all over the internet. i don't know what it is. >> there was no calming her down. it's -- it's a nightmare that doesn't stop. >> andrews is also suing michael david barrett, the man who filmed her. she claims a member of the hotel staff told barrett which room she was staying in. an update on the zika virus, the health department confirming five additional cases in florida, that brings the total number of zika cases in our state up to 42, including four pregnant women. the majority of those cases are in south florida. there are three confirmed cases here in hillsborough county.

the cdc to send 250 more zika test kits to florida. sad news from hernando county, a young teacher died after a rodeo accident. lara died from a barrel race. her horse, we're told tossed her to the ground. she was a cancer survivor and got engaged less than two weeks ago. and leaves behind a 2-year-old son. a sex offender charged with robbing and attacking two women in their sarasota home. yesterday morning, police say 35-year-old daniel esposito pulled a gun on a woman who pulled into her garage and sexually assaulted her. he was sentenced to prison a decade ago after he was convicted of sex of with a minor. more about apple's fight

a new york judge ruled apple can't be provided with access to locked iphone data. this is a different phone than the terrorist phone in the news lately. this new york decision contradicts a decision by a california judge who ordered apple to help the federal government hack into the san bernardino shooters' i-phone. apple is opposing requests to extract data from a dozen i- phones in california, illinois, massachusetts and new york. democracy 2016 -- the biggest day of the presidential campaign so far. today is super tuesday. >> the latest poll numbers, if you believe them voters in 12 states are set to hand big victories to hillary clinton and donald trump. >> on the republican side the fight to win nearly 600 delegates is fierce marci gonzales has more. >> reporter: hours before super

hundreds of police lights lit up the night sky for a young police officer killed in the line of duty. prince william county, police officer, ashley guindon was shot and killed saturday, her first full day on the force. investigators say ronald hamilton killed her and two other officers -- and injured two other officers. she graduated from embry rid until daytona beach. she will be laid to rest this morning. we're following a developing story in raleigh, north carolina where hundreds are demanding action after an on officer shot and killed a drug suspect. there was a vigil last night for 24-year-old akil denkins. place chasing him on foot when he was shot. the mother claims her son wasn't armed but a gun was found near his body. covering pasco county, the days of prettier to towing --

to noon the following morning. >> you have enough time to wake up, get your head together, and go get your car. >> reporter: giving owners like ken the peace of mind they need to serve up fun all night long. in pasco county, cameron polom, abc action news. let's check with ivan for a look at florida's most accurate 7-day forecast on this tuesday. >> the difference i think today is we have, well, cool temperatures, that is not new but we have some patchy fog that could be developing. we'll watch that closely throughout the morning. right now looking good, upper 50s to lower 60s. it's going to be mild this afternoon. in fact, we can call it warm, near 80, some spots will hit 80 this afternoon. that means an incredible warm- up because we're low to mid-40s across the nature coast. that's where we can see a little patchy fog and also across the interior in polk county. we'll keep you posted. otherwise right now nothing too dramatic as far as the visibility. down to three across the north

below, if we get there that is when we start to see issues on the roadways. titan doppler radar pretty quiet. widening out the shot, look at the southeastern u.s., not much going on here. not many clouds developing for us today. there is pretty potent front that is going to come in across the southeast. the thing is though by the time it gets to us it will have weakened significantly and the moisture associated with it really not all there. so, when it passes through here, it will be tomorrow, it will move in with clouds and about 10% to 20% coverage. not thunderstorms, not severe weather but a couple of showers rolling through. then once again we're back in the dry air which means a tad cooler for your day on thursday. we'll wake up with temperatures a little cool again. that is looking pretty good. another woundry, a a weak one on -- boundary, a weak one friday. temperatures in the 70s, overnight lows in the 50s and 60s. and saturday and sunday looking

we have some breaking news, unfortunately, we're starting off with a fatal crash, in hillsborough county, i-75 southbound just past gibsonton drive. these are live pictures. the entire southbound lanes of i-75 closed there. so if you're heading that way some time. here's the crash on the map, so it's after gibsonton drive. you're going to want to get off there and take 301 or even 41 depending on where you're coming from and where you're going to pass this. then you can get back on 75 a little later. not a lot of congestion now because traffic is still light but expect the lanes to be closed for some time because again we're dealing with a fatal crash. i'll keep an eye on it and we'll follow this throughout the morning. 4:49. the tampa bay lightning are back on top of the atlantic division for the first time since last fall. tom korun shows you how the bolts did it. >> reporter: good morning. it took two big winning streaks

bus stop forecast looking good, a little cool. you need the jacket just like the last several mornings. temperatures in the mid-50s. don't have to worry about rain gear. a lot of sunshine with temperatures in the upper 70s. we'll talk about the extended forecast coming up. 4:54. supersonic jet travel may be coming back. there's not been commercial supersonic flights since the concord stopped flying a decade ago. nasa just awarded a contract to lockheed martin to develop a passenger jet that can fly faster than the speed of sound. nasa seit's expected to make flying safer, greener and quieter. and astronaut scott kelly is returning to earth after spending the last year in space. kelly's mission is to help scientists examine the effects of long term space travel. by seeing how kelly adjusted to a year in space it will help nasa prepare for manned missions deeper into space
