clouds at the airport in tampa now. clear ware waur sunny. thought we would see high cloudiness out tonight. a milky look to the sky. those are still several hundred miles to the north and west bringing us rain. if you're going outside and whatever you have planned, the weather will be great. it will be mild and partly cloudy and should be a nice sunset and then all the sudden, overnight tonight into tomorrow morning you may begin to hear rain falling on your roof. i don't think it will be a big deal but i do think it could linger up until early morning hours, maybe 6:00 or 7:00. for most of us you're going to sleep right through it. 8:00 tomorrow morning you will have moved through the metro and pushing across the southern counties. once the rain is gone, our rain chances look to be gone probably

and then we begin to see our next change. it won't be rain or dry that we're talking about. it's heat. an easterly flow sets up saturday and that's something we always keep our eye on because it can create showers over in the east coast. don't think they will make it to polk county but we will monitor it. not like we're tracking a storm or front. just a change of wind direction. in florida that can bring in moisture from the atlantic and a couple showers. overall, we're not talking much. this is the european forecast for tonight and tomorrow. this is where it gets interesting. this is the upper level. when you look at the blue colors, typically it means wintertime. red means warmth. by tuesday into wednesday and thursday we are looking at serious warmth across the sunshine state.

a tour bus and fighting with police. police saying the uber driver was drunk when he ran a red light and smashed into the side of an empty charter bus. they said the driver was not working for uber during the time of crash but any driver linked to any alcohol related incident is placed on leave. if this driver is found guilty he will be fired. a grave scandal in pols county. some students barely showed up for class with passing grades i feel like you're making criminals out of people that don't deserve it. tampa city council take the first step to ease the punishment for marijuana violations. one mother says it's the first step to saving her son's life.
