breaking overnight -- a train derails in central california sending one of its cars into a creek. this morning we find out what rescue courthouse are doing right now to make -- crews are doing right now to make sure everyone is safe and accounted for. >> and two different shootings a few miles apart in tampa. we're working to find out now if they are related and possibly connected to a murder. good morning, thank you for joining us on this tuesday. >> we'll get to that in a moment but first janelle and together. >> we'll start with a little weather. looks great out there. checking in with 60s now. a little bit miler than we had yesterday. remember -- milder than we had yesterday. remember yesterday we had the

30s across portions of citrus and hernando counties. at this point warming up nicely into the 60 here with a few clouds. looking pretty good for the rest of the tampa bay area. notice the southeast wind really taking over and moderating our air mass so we're looking at mostly 60s. 64 tampa. we'll drop a couple more degrees, we have not reached morning lows quite yet but won't drop much more than what you see here. 60 bradenton. as we check in with the hour by hour forecast, by 10:00 already in the 70s, then we'll hit 80 by 3:00 p.m. and stay that way through the early part of the day. looks pretty good. we're not done with the warm- up. i think we'll be in the mid- 80s. we'll talk about that heading into tomorrow. janelle, how are the roads? >> it's early but you know who is out there? corey dierdorff. we have construction on 275 where we had some overnight. do you see any of the

>> reporter: yeah. good morning. definitely. heading southbound around the westshore exit there's backup from the overnight construction, five-minute delay but northbound 275 headed to downtown you can see wide open looking really great. we're headed to causeway boulevard and 54th street. report of an accident, we'll give you an update as soon as we get on scene. unfortunately, we have a very serious crash in the lake wales area, possible fatal crash westbound state road 60 at evergreen drive. it happened overnight. westbound lanes here are completely blocked but cars are using the eastbound lanes to get around this. so traffic still light at this time of morning so again they are kind of sharing those lanes there in the eastbound, but again just use caution if you're heading that way. i'll keep an eye on it and let you know as soon as it clears. elsewhere in the bay area we're in pretty good shape. crossing the howard frankland bridge, in the middle there you can see the water and traffic pretty light.

bridges less than 10 minutes. 5:03. take a look at this. a commuter train on its side in the water of a creek. this video coming from northern california. after that train derailed on its way from silicon valley to stockton. first responders on scene battled the creek's fast- moving water to pull passengers out of the partially submerged rail car, at least nine were injured, four have serious but non life-threatening injuries. the rest only minor. investigators are working now to confirm if a downed tree on the tracks may have caused that derailment. >> right now we're using the helicopters, we're using people on foot, we're just making sure there's nobody else around or left on the rail or anything like that. >> first responders will handle the scene until recovery experts and officials with the ntsb get there. right now we're following up on two shootings that happened within minutes of each other here in tampa. we start in south tampa where

whether two separate scenes are now connected to a murder. officers say an ongoing dispute turned violent when someone shot two people at the south bay apartments on lois avenue. police say they later found a body next to a car about three miles away from the apartments. it's still very early in the investigation, they are interviewing witnesses now but believe that victim was trying to drive and get help but died before he could get to a hospital. another person was also hurt. meanwhile, hillsborough deputies say they have a suspect in custody after another double shooting at an apartment complex. we're told someone shot that man -- men during a drug transaction at the beacon isles apartments. deputy say they found drug paraphernalia after they caught the suspected shooter. do you believe you will >> no. >> erin andrews might be waking up to a huge court victory but made it clear the ordeal will

the jury of everybody women and five men awarding her $55 million for marriott hotels and the man that recorded her naked through the peep hole in her hotel room door. a tearful andrews thanked jurors, her original suit sought $75 million from the nashville hotel she was staying at when michael barrett stalked and videotaped her secretly in her hotel room in 2008, then posted it to the internet. he was sentenced to two and-a- half years in prison. throughout the trial family members talked about how andrews continues to have trust issues to this day. >> i look to see if there's cameras. i check the bed, i check the alarm clock, i check the phone. >> lawyers for the nashville hotel haven't said whether or not they plan to appeal the jury's decision. women in andrews' situation now have more potential in florida. a new law makes it illegal to post sexually explicit videos and photos on-line without someone's consent.

months now. the revenge porn law makes it a misdemeanor punishable by down a year in jail. deputies say they are looking into patty the dog now accused of biting another dog. this happen at the pet clinic in bradenton yesterday morning. that 4 1/2-month-old guiden retriever is a service dog in training so that dog is protected under the law. the own deer be charged with a misclean -- owner could be charged with a misdemeanor but nothing is going to happen to patty. the dog was almost put down for biting a child over the summer but a judge saved patty's life in december. a woman says she was hit by a suspected drunk driver and held against her will. the woman was put in the car somehow. largo police say she was in excruciating pain and begged dejesus to call 911 but he refused. she was able to call for help

behind the wheel on ulmerton road. she's recovering now with a broken he he will -- pelvis. yesterday on the howard frankland bridge, troopers told us there was a multicar crash when 62-year-old ivan hall lost control after a front tire blew out. it set up a chain reaction with 10 cars. hall was seriously hurt, everyone else had only minor injuries. a woman became a symbol of the boston marathon both, she survived that attack but sadly died yesterday in a car crash overseas. victoria mcgraph and her college classmate priscilla perez were undergraduate students and sadly killed in a car crash in dubai. in 2013 she was near the finish line of the boston marathon when two bombs sent shrapnel into her leg. a boston firefighter careied her away from the scene. a newspaper photographer

became a symbol of the tragic incident. the news of her death is devastating to another first responder who made a tourniquet for her out of a scarf. >> i was devastated, i went from sad immediately to angry because i did -- i did -- like many people feel cheated. now i'm kind of -- back to sad again. because there's a spark. there's a spark that she brought to everybody's life. and that spark is extinguished. it's gone. we lose it forever. >> the university says mcgarage and her roommate were -- mcgra thh and her graduate were both set to graduate this year. new details coming in on when former first lady nancy reagan will be laid to rest. public visitation is set for tomorrow and thursday at the ronald reagan presidential library in simi valley, california. then a closed funeral starts 11:00 friday morning. that will be closed to the public.

a shocking moment caught on camera. this garbage truck fall off i- 95 in south florida. florida highway patrol sharing this video from the concept last month. that driver -- accident last month. that driver loses control, and lands into a park. this is a brand new perspective. somehow the driver survived this, is recovering after time at a hospital of the fhp says they are still investigating why this happened. ill -- illinois police department is trying a new strategy to stop people from drinking and driving. they released shocking video you see there of a car rolling down the road with a 15-foot tree wedged in the front grill. they say the driver says she

couldn't remember where it happened. she was also driving on the wrong side of the road when they pulled her over. the driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. this actually happened in january, police later put the pictures up on their facebook page but after some people questioned the authenticity police responded by releasing the dash cam video yesterday and included that message is there "don't drink and drive." big difference in our temperatures now. not like yesterday where we had 30s across the north. brooksville 49. new port richey along the water there 60. 61 clearwater. most of us in the 50s and 60s, milder start than yesterday. i think that will be the trend the next few days, everyday not only do we warm up daytime temperatures but overnight as well. courtesy of a southeasterly wind that will keep us dry by the way. titan doppler radar quiet. we'll wipedden out the shot and you can see the expansive area of high pressure. rain and cloud cover stays west and will do so really through the next several days.

weather systems can't go east. they are going to break along portions of texas and into louisiana where i'm thinking upwards of -- nine to 11 inches of rainfall the next few case. it's going to be a big deal. the blocking high keeps us protected, not just from the rain but the clouds as well so. we're going to go mostly sunny, the rest of this week and we're going to warm up as well with that southeast flow. temperatures upper 70s to around 80 by later today. we'll warm up even more so, we're mid-80s, possible for tomorrow. in fact i think likely for interior counties at the airport 82. 84 thursday. notice we stay with mostly sunny skies, right through the day on friday. now the weekend arrives and timing differences, still have to work them out. in fact i'm leaning more sunday now. so saturday may be safe but you have to check back with us and once we get more agreement with the models we'll have a better

by the way, see that clock there? forward. weekend. we lose an hour of sleep. can you imagine? >> no. >> it's a good thing. we have to adjust. afternoon. >> it's worth it. corey dierdorff just found a crash in the brandon area around 50th street and causeway boulevard. you can see the flashing lights there. he tells me there's some roadblock but traffic still very light at this time of morning so you shouldn't have any trouble working your way around it. just keep in mind we do have a street. leave a few extra minutes early, if you can you may want to avoid that area. make sure you slow down when vehicles. elsewhere we have construction southbound after you pass westshore, these are the southbound cars, those are the tail-lights you see. when you get to memorial highway, not really causing a big backup, maybe five-minute delay there.

we told but this yesterday, just south of 38th avenue south, you can see the flashing lights in the distance there. again not causing any trouble but you might want to leave just a couple of minutes early in case you run into slowdowns there. in sarasota county customers are at risk of credit card fraud this morning after two credit card skimmers were found on gas station pumps. the sheriff's office says they found the skimmers at the 7- eleven mobile station on fruitville road in sarasota. employees noticed broken security seals on saturday. on sunday fuel technician came out and confirmed there were skimmers on two of the pumps. if you got gas at this station over the weekend or even last week keep an eye on your credit card statements or just request a new one. we're hearing from the south florida girl nearly kidnapped when she was walking home from school last week. a man drove up next to the 13- year-old girl in pompano beach and asked her if she was walking home. she ignored him and that is when he got out, he grabs her,

the kids and two adults went to the hospital as a precaution. we have an update on a story we brought you yesterday. the two virginia volunteer firefighters suspended after rushing a toddler to the hospital in their fire engine have been reinstated. they were the first on scene when a call came in about a 18- month-old girl having a seizure, with no plans in sight the firefighters put -- ambulance in sight the firefighters put her on oxygen in the fire engine and had her in the trauma room in minutes. they were suspended for not waiting for the ambulance. after word got out the fire department says the men received incredible support from the community. >> amazing. international status, seriously, people hit me from international. it's amazing the outpouring from the community coming together to support us through all this. we couldn't -- as a department be more happy. >> the county again put those men on leave for using a fire engine which was not licensed to carry patients.
