breaking news near pittsburgh. police are looking for two gunmen who shot eight people, killing five of them. all of those victims were at a backyard barbecue in wilkinsburg when the gunmen approached from separate directions. the victims tried to run into the back of the house when the shooting started. detectives right now are unsure of a motive. breaking overnight in tampa, firefighters are suggesting the cause of a suspicious -- are investigating the cause of a suspicious fire. names were coming from the back of this home. firefighters quickly contained it. officials say there was no house. squatters. they are not ruling out arson. take a look at your tv screen. pasco county officials are here. woman.

woman's head, but thankfully she escaped. lynndielindsay logue, what's the latest on the manhunt? >> i just checked the latest, and the arrest warrant says he's still on the run. we want to show you video. you will see this only on abc action news. we were there as deputies swarmed his home in brooksville. they busted down the front door and searched his house. but neighbors tell deputies they haven't seen him since around dinner time yesterday. all of this started late tuesday night. he went to a friend's home in hudson in pasco county. the woman was in his car when she says he put a plastic bag over her head and tried to suffocate her and abduct her. she was able to fight back and escape. >> it kind of freaks me out

letting people into the u.s. illegally obtain driver's licenses. both candidate as agree drump is worse on immigration than either of them. one of them could be picking up a big endorsement. jeb bush is meeting with marco rubio, ted cruz and kasich, everybody except trump. those meetings could result in a bush endorsement on tuesday before the state's primary. dealing with quite the stinky situation. landfill. now they say when it rains, polluted water is flooding their backyards. it is a problem they've been trying to fix for months. they reached out to the builders, the community county. they were told the water should recede in 48 hours, but some homeowners say it flooded for months. residents with are told the problem would be fixed before they moved in. >> at closing, i kept saying, gosh, there's so much water out back.

good morning, everybody. if you are driving over in pinellas county on 275 just a heads-up. there is construction going on at 54th avenue south. that's what you are looking at right there. so that exit is closed.

coming up in a few minutes. a wildfire is burning into yards in east central florida, damaging at least four of them. you can see the flames burning next to this house. firefighters say it broke out yesterday in palm bay after a structure fire. that blaze eventually grew to about 45 acres. people living near the fire were able to leave their homes voluntarily. flint, michigan will stop sending water bills to residents for about a month as they try to calculate how to apply state aid that helps people who paid for nearly two years for water that is now unsafe to drink. the drinking water became tainted with lead in 2014. lead contamination can cause brain damage. southern states are flooded with rain.

halfway up the guardrails. two people have drowned. roads are washing away with nearly a foot of rain. now teams are working around the clock to rescue people. they've had to send a boat into one home. the flooding comes after tornadoes and golf ball sized hail. it is not stopping. it continues today, right? >> historic rains, upwards of a foot and a half have fallen. this is what happens when weather systems get stuck and don't move. they have been dealing with the rainfall and heavy rainfall. one in texas, west of dallas/fort worth. we have more damage and what you are seeing from yesterday. the main threat here continues to be the heavy rainfall, not so much the tornado threat at this minute here. take a look at what's happened over the last 48 hours. not just in texas but heading into louisiana and over a foot

take a look at this stream of moisture coming in out of the gulf. this is a plume of moisture here, one that came in through california. that moved on top of them. then another and another. we've had the series of waves right on top of them there. i'm showing you that as well because it's impacting our weather by the time we get into the weekend. the reason we've had this fantastic weather of late is the reason it's flooding there because the system can't move east with this blocking high. that brought us warm weather couple of days. i think we are in for that for a few more days and eventually that rain tries to move to the east as the high breaks down. it will get here not saturday but heading into sunday. the huge system for pus will right? it's not going to get stuck on louisiana.

east. right now, we're checking in with temps in the upper 60s. a few clouds this morning and we'll break out with the full sense of the afternoon and get low to mid-80s. the sea breeze is kicking in. looking at good boating conditions as well as a small craft caution as the seas continue to build with that. low 80s right through saturday. saturday looks good. outdoor plans, fantastic. we'll be covering, of course, sunday with the big race coming up. i think we may have to deal with wet roads, unfortunately and lingering showers into early next week with temperatures holding in the upper 70s and low 08s. >> we can use some rain. >> it might have been a while. as far as the roads go, we under good shape. out and about driving around on 275.

ramp from memorial highway so when you are coming off the veterans there trying to get onto 275, that ramp right there is closed for about another 15 minutes or so. so you have to use west shore to get onto 275 northbound. here is a look at 275 wide open. it's taking six minutes to get from here to downtown tampa. this is the tampa side of the bridge again. up to speed in both directions. less than ten minutes to get across all three bridges this morning. back to you. >> thanks, janelle. >> a gun advocate is in the hospital after being shot in the back by her 4-year-old son. the woman is in stable condition this morning. authorities say her son was in the back heat -- [no audio ] the sheriff's office says big decisions will now have to be

a second grade teacher is accused of being so drunk as a substitute teacher, she fell out the window when she stood up. other school staffers say she was acting strange and asked a resource officer to check on her. that officer says joel's water bottle smelled like alcohol and pills were in her purse. she is charged with child neglect and disorderly intoxication. the school district says she has been fired. this morning, being kicked out of disney on ice show. >> the girls went to the show dressed as anna and elsa, and the costumes got so much attention, they were asked to leave. they posted a few pictures until the staffers said they couldn't do that. at intermission, a represent itch for the show approached them. five minutes later, security
