call in missouri for the democrats and republicans. the votes still being counted. >> bernie sanders and hillary clinton, it's less than one percentage point and that means they can have a recount. >> clinton keeps her lead, in addition to illinois she also won florida, north carolina and ohio. >> on the republican side adopted donald dominated the sunshine state, just about every other state that voted yesterday. that includes north carolina and illinois. the only one he couldn't clinch? ohio. governor john kasich took the victory in his home state. senators ted cruz and marco rubio didn't win any states. and after rubio's loss to trump in florida he's suspended his campaign. more on this overnight coverage of democracy 2016 in a minute but first janelle martinez is here with the breaking traffic alert. what is going on out there?

howard frankland blocking two lanes, you can see the flashing lights. cars just getting by in the inside lane. this is just after the hump as you head into tampa. traffic still pretty light so we're not seeing a significant delay, it's still taking only six minutes to get across the howard frankland but as the morning rush hour pushes on we could see the drive times increase. i'll watch it. we're also watching the sunshine skyway, it's open but it is foggy up at the top. highway patrol asking drivers to use caution. let's hope this bridge stays open because your detour is the howard frankland. just a quick heads up, we have a closure on the veterans from ehrlich to van dyke due to construction in both directions. we expect that to reopen any minute now, at least by 5:30. busy morning so far but let's hope the sunshine skyway stays open. >> yes, especially with the crash. the fog continues. this is going to be an issue because it's going to be sea fog.

all the way to closing last night. five states voted in the primaries. one of the campaigns though coming to a very close -- a close, rather. >> marco rubio gave a concession speech in miami. ashley yore has more. there's a lot of red on the map behind you. >> reporter: if you take a look at our key, red means donald trump. it's not a big surprise that marco rubio lost here in his home state but when you look at this map you can tell just by how much. take a look, here in hillsborough county you can see that, out of the total votes clearly donald trump got the most there with nearly 52,000 votes. and that is more than double marco rubio's 35,000, nearly 36,000 votes. the one county he did win here, that is miami dade and that is

in palm beach, carson chambers, abc action news. >> donald trump supporters held on to every word of his victory speech in the bay area. at a watch party in channelside. trump stuck to his talking points about making america great again. he got the biggest cheers when talking about the economy and bringing jobs back to the u.s. from overseas. supporters say they are tired of career politicians and they like trump's fiery language. >> he says what it is, like what an average american feels, and what average americans life is all about. and i don't think that all this negativity will impact trump's campaign. >> the question of whether trump can unify the party still remains to be answered but his supporters believe he can. john kasich holds on to his sweet victory in ohio. the one state keeping him from -- donald trump from a sweep in the rest of the primaries where

confident about the amount of votes she's secured last night and is hoping she's that much closer to securing the democratic nomination for president. in west peach, lauren rozella, abc action news. bernie sanders was in arizona last night watching the returns. if sanders ends up winning the missouri primary he will have one condition test to his name and keep clinton from sweeping them all yesterday. but it's not just clinton who sanders spoke of yesterday during his rally in phoenix. he also explained why he says donald trump will never be president. >> the reason that donald trump will never be elected president - [ cheering and applause ] -- is the american people will not accept insults to mexicans, muslims or women! in good morning. in st. pete heading to tampa, a crash on the howard frankland, all but one lane closed now. you can see cars getting by, those flashing lights there. no real delays now, we'll check more in a few minutes. developing this morning, investigators now believe an unreported car crash on train tracks in kansas that caused a derailment. we brought you the breaking news earlier this week after the amtrak traveling from l.a. to chicago derailed monday night. the ntsb now comes forward with their latest findings as they investigate the scene. 145 passengers and crew were on

32 people were hurt when five cars overturned. 5:14. emergency dive teams in in kentucky are trying to recover a car that fell off the bridge and into the ohio river yesterday. rescuers are looking to find the vehicle, found it with imaging technology after an hourslong search. still no word on how many people were in the car. witnesses say a semi pushed the car off the bridge during a chain reaction crash involving 12 vehicles. several people were injured. we'll continue to monitor the scene and keep you up to date as soon as we get more information on exactly when the crews plan to recover that car in the river. good morning. we are following this crash on the howard frankland, blocking both of the outside lanes, only cars getting through on the inside lane here. this is still early in the morning so we are not seeing a significant delay. let's check drive times and you

takes to get across. right there in the middle, six minutes still to get across so not causing significant delays there. it's still even with that crash the quickest of the three bridges the courtney campbell and gandy at 9 and 8 minutes. we have some fog in the area, we're going to show you where that is on the map. you can see the area shaded in yellow so if you're driving along i-75, u.s. 41 and spring hill, wesley chapel, you might want to use the low beams. also south from palmetto to port charlotte seeing some fog there covering i-75, we are checking the sunshine skyway, it is still open at this time. corey dierdorff is out driving around on 275 heading southbound towards the howard frankland and he says fog is starting to thicken up out there, just in the short time he's been driving around this morning. so again you might want to use some caution and low beams. how long do you think the

>> depends on where you are. inland sections probably a few hours. the coastal areas are going to take a while. so say if you're in lakeland, watching from zephyrhills, shortly after sunrise we'll begin to lift the fog. then we'll warm up. right along the coast like yesterday i think still an issue. marine dense fog advisory continues for the bay the and out to 20 nautical miles. we'll continue to see that in effect through 11:00 a.m. this morning. so, that's how long we expect the fog to be an issue. 70s now, we're going to be in the 80s by later this afternoon. nice and warm here, titan doppler radar quiet. i want to show you though what is happening further north. not a lot now. you can see a few showers up towards kentucky. that is the frontal boundary that will eventually begin to sag our way and as it does so it will begin to increase our rain chances here watch what

afternoon. 10% to 20% coverage. it's friday where we begin to really ramp up the rain saturday. so the range in temperatures just like yesterday, 70s along the coast, low 80s inland and then mid and upper 80s towards hardy, desoto and polk counties, with the heat index because of the high humidity around 90 degrees. feel. there's the rain chance friday, and then showers and thunderstorms through the day on saturday. keep it in mind. the wetter i think of the two weekend days with temperatures in the upper 70s. sunday still iffy with timing but i think showers early and then we'll begin to clear out and watch what happens behind that front. highs only in the 60s and low 70s. we'll have overnight lows in the 40s and 50s for early next week. it is going to be quite a shock to the system after all this warm and muggy weather. new this morning -- telethon to help flint

lead tainted water raised $1 million. the detroit pistons teamed up money. the owner says he would match up to $1 million, made telethon. donations totaled more than 500,000 so the pistons matched that bringing the total to more than $1 million. flint is not the only city crisis. in newark, new jersey dozens of schools have elevated lead and fittings. >> that has health officials taking action to make sure that students are safe. right now more than 30 schools in newark have elevated levels of lead in the water. the school board decided that all 17,000 students in that district need to undergo blood tests for lead. because younger kids are most at risk health officials decided 2,000 students in early childhood programs would get the blood tests first. but some council members say it's not necessary. >> i'm more concerned about the kids who actually can reach the
