chance of showers. i think the best rain chance though will probably stack up on saturday afternoon into saturday evening. temperatures right now anywhere from the upper 60s to the mid- 70s although still low to mid 60s tampa, the sea breeze making things comfortable especially when inland areas were ten degrees above normal. low # 0s right now -- 70s right now under partly cloudy skies. the high temperature today in tampa, as i said we were ending up primarily in the lower 80s, now down to 73. the dewpoint is the number we're showing a lot lately. when you see the dewpoint close to 70 in our area it almost always means june, july, or august. summer season. but we have seen so much moisture come in and so much
11:20 pm
reasons we've had so much fog, and also why we're seeing temperatures averaging ten above normal. tomorrow morning we get the air moving around a little bit, and keeping fog from settling down in many areas, so i think we'll have patchy fog, but no wide- spread dense fog i don't think, but we will have to watch the chance of a few showers, and the way tomorrow playing out i still think we see quite a bit of sunshine mixed with clouds and a couple of isolated showers. not many. anything that does develop, probably later in the afternoon or evening. not much, but notice, overnight tonight tomorrow into saturday morning, that's when things begin to change. the next piece of energy, and in my mind it's the strongest, so saturday afternoon and saturday night that's when our rain chances will be about 60, maybe even 70 percent, but by saturday evening the rain is
11:21 pm
might start off cloudy, the rest of the day is pretty nice i think. so second half of sunday will be the best part of weekend weather-wise. in fact right through 7:00 a.m. saturday not a big deal, but all of the sudden through sunday morning rain chances, totals about half an inch, nothing too high, but because it could pop almost any time, take into consideration at least the chance of a few showers at any point late tomorrow into saturday, so keep the umbrella handy. not changing the temperatures though. still in the upper 70s to mid- 80s across most of area. here's the hour by hour forecast, the rain chances remain slim through the morning. warm up again leading to the seven-day with rain chances at about 60 percent by saturday, 50 percent first thing sunday, and clear and colder by early next week.
