>> uh-oh. everyone. i'm kendis gibson. >> and i'm lauren lyster. we begin with president obama's historic trip to cuba. air force one touching down in havana last yesterday. the first time a u.s. president has visited the nation since 1920s. >> sasha and malia, michelle obama and her mother, tropical rains as you can see, greeting the group as they walk through old havana. >> the trip is coming with plenty of controversy. bazi kanani is live with the details. >> reporter: president obama and president castro have been working for more than a year to normalize relations between the nations. president obama is pushing for new ties that would be too hard

the historic first moments. a u.s. president arooifgs in cuba for the first time in nearly 90 years. >> it's wonderful to be here. >> reporter: president obama and the first lady greet staff at the recently reopened u.s. embassy. crowds cheer, as their daughters join them for a tour of old havana, the weather building and the vintage american cars before the embargoes. in the last year, the cube ban government has relaxed limits on the internet, cell phones and private enterprise. but, the country's strict limits on free speech and political opposition are still in force. these protesters arrested just before president obama's arrival. critics say cuba isn't doing enough to earn restored ties with the u.s. donald trump said this the case in point.

says that north korea has fired multiple short-range missills into the water. this morning's large comes three days after they fired three short-range missiles. in defiance of new sanctions imposed by the u.n. and the u.s. the marine killed in an isis rocket attack in iraq has been identified as staff sergeant louis cardin of california. cardin was deployed with the 21st marine expetition nary unit. his family said he enlisted two days after graduating high school. the suspect in the paris attacks captured in brussels was apparently planning more violence. salah abdeslam was charged with

ben carson would have a health care role in his administration. on the democratic side, bill clinton is campaigning for his wife in arizona. clinton was introduced at an event in arizona by retired astronaut mark kelly and his wife gabby giffords. his appearance came ahead of tomorrow's arizona primaries. during the comments, the former president made reference to hillary clinton's previous win in 2012. >> arizona voted with us. tuesday. >> hillary clinton hosts an event tonight in phoenix. additional to arizona there are democratic nominating contests in utah and idaho. bernie sanders will be hoping events today. he attracted thousands of people at rallis across washington

for the love of dog. good morning. hope you had a nice weekend. we're starting off chilly, 50s. we're going for 40s for overnight lows this morning. the winds are very gusty as well. from 30 to 35 miles an hour. look at the 24-hour temperature change. we're running 10 to 15 degrees colder than this time yesterday, of course that is the front that moved through here, late-season cold front. and certainly for this time of year incredible temperatures. current feels-like temperatures in the 50s, clear skies across the southeast, front to the south. high clouds rolling from the south and west across the gulf but otherwise pretty quiet shape as far as high pressure building in.

we'll have a a north wind for now and then an easterly component to it. that will help us as far as moderating the temperatures. this time of year you get the friends and it's hard to keep temperatures this cold with the march sun. as we warm up the next few days. these are the highs for today. low to mid-60s. that's it. upper 50s along the coast. less windy tonight. so that will set us up for much colder temperatures in the upper 30s, in fact with the light winds wouldn't be surprised the usual spots with a little frost? that's possible. tomorrow morning. temperatures in the afternoon, unlike today running a good 10 degrees above where we will be this afternoon. low 70s. plenty of sunshine. and we'll talk about temperatures today, about 65, mostly sunny. should be about close to 80 this time of year for us.

have gusts to 30 and 35, and that is an issue for boaters. so we have the small craft advisory that continues in effect through this evening. 10 to 14 foot seas early, subsiding to 8 to 11, that is dangerous stuff and rough conditions continue. those are the tides the next 12 hours. the hour by hour forecast -- slowly we'll begin to warm up as we head through the afternoon. highs into the mid and upper 50s. and then we'll climb into the low 60s. that's it. the winds are going to be very gusty so it's hard to warm up. 7-day forecast, into the next three with temperatures tonight once again very cold into the 40s. we'll have low 70s for tuesday. approaching 80 on wednesday. then through the next few days with the southeast wind we'll warm up, back in the 80s, rain chances coming back up as well beginning thursday and heading into next weekend.
