29-year-oldee ezekiel henson of tampa. george zimmerman is back in the news again, this time for confrontation at a central florida restaurant. we are hearing the 911 call he made for help. why zimmerman was reportedly punched. >> got punched in the face and called me a bleep. >> reporter: that is george zimmerman's voice, yet again, on a 911 call, this time to report a battery at gator's riverside grill sunday in sanford. he didn't want to give his name to the operator but a friend with him did, and described the alleged attack. >> george zimmerman and i were sitting at a restaurant here eating and four or five guys came up to us and attacked george. >> reporter: witnesses tell us zimmerman was overheard bragging about killing trayvon martin in sanford, florida in

regulars at the restaurant went over to him. >> the guy punched me in the face and broke my glasses. >> reporter: in the 7-minute call zimmerman kept asking police where they were. y'all don't have anybody here yet? >> reporter: police finally pulled over a car leaving the restaurant. the man who allegedly punched him has not been arrested. zimmerman asked for paramedics. >> do you need a paramemedic to check you out? >> yes, i don't know where bleeding from. >> zimmerman told 911 his alleged attacker even threatened to kill him multiple times. police say zimmerman was not the addresser. an unarmed black therapist who was shot by a police officer while trying to protect his client is suing. charles kinzie filed a lawsuit. the suit claims the officer used excessive force. kinzie's autistic client was

truck. kinzie was trying to coax him back to the group home where he lived. the officer shot kinzie by accident, the officer was aiming for the patient. the officer is now on administrative leave after that shooting in we are learning the alleged gunman charged in the charleston church massacre is recovering after an attack in jail. another inmate assaulted dylann roof near the shower. there was no weapon used and roof is expect to be okay. roof is facing charges for murdering nine black church members during bible study last year. there is no evidence that the vicious murder of a florida woman in london is related to terrorism. the 19-year-old man, born in somalia, fatally stabbed 64- year-old darlene horton in london on wednesday. the attacker also wounded five others. police now say the suspect has mental problems. horton's husband, rick wagner, had just finished a summer teaching program for florida state. the money from one orlando fund could soon be distributed.

the victims's credit cards after killing the teens. police revealing there are two crime scenes but are still not talking about a possible motive. an ohio sex offender is facing charges after a woman he allegedly attacked died from her injuries. christopher amos protected her grandchildren. he stabbed the grandmother in the chest and her 7-year-old grandson in the shoulder. she confronted him after he rapidly lured the children the alleyway. her 8-year-old granddaughter wasn't hurt. her grandson has since recovered. investigators say men stole dozens of cars by using laptop computers. police aresisted michael arsy and jessie salia. they are accused of stealing more than 30 jeans in the houston area in the last six months. they turned the cars on using pirated software and laptops and drove off.

restaurant that led to this 911 call. and breaking news. tampa police want your help right now to find a missing child. this is 12-year-old malik beard. he hasn't been seen since last night. he argued with his mom before he vanished. he usually hangs out in the belmont heights area. if you see him, call police immediately. on a friday as we check in, like yesterday not as concentrated. we have a few offshore showers that wl long boat key getting in on that. five miles away, in the next 15, 20 minutes we'll be seeing wet roads along the coast here. but again, not as significant. and when we look offshore the thunderstorms not really getting going. a few coastal showers this morning but we will transition into plenty of afternoon thunderstorms coverage, 50% for today and going a little bit higher as we head into the upcoming weekend.
