it is in the mix on this tuesday, august 9th. from abc news, this is "world news now." we do say good morning on a tuesday. i'm kendis gibson. >> i'm diane macedo. we begin this half hour with another accident on an amusement park ride. >> at a county fair in tennessee about 40 miles from knoxville. three girls fell from a flipped. they fell 30 to 45 feet to the ground. >> i feel bad for the little kids. they just screamed a little bit, and then they just hit the ground, just laying there. everybody was calling 9-1-1. a lot of people, and then they had the balance aambulance and helicopters come in. i hate seeing something like that. >> such a terrifying scene for the witnesses. two of the victims were flown by
