>> more news -- >> after this. p my afib from leaving me at a higher risk of stroke. that'd be devastating. i took warfarin for over 15 years until i learned more about once-daily xarelto... a latest generation blood thinner. then i made the switch. xarelto? significantly lowers the risk of stroke in people with afib not caused by a heart valve problem. it has similar effectiveness to warfarin. warfarin interferes with vitamin k and at least six blood clotting factors. one critical factor of your body's natural clotting function. for people with afib currently well managed on warfarin, there is limited information on how xarelto and warfarin compare in reducing the risk of stroke. like all blood thinners, don't stop taking xarelto without talking to your doctor, as this may increase your risk of a blood clot or stroke. while taking you may bruise more easily, and it may take longer for bleeding to stop. xarelto may increase your risk of bleeding if you take certain medicines.

4:27. titan doppler radar is nice and dry. if you're headed out for the early morning jog or bike ride it looks fabulous. the rain isn't getting in the way if you see some hours it's from storms that are way out in the gulf. so yeah the light travels a distance but we have no rain or storms in our area. so looking good as we start the day. the futurecast is in agreement that we're off to a dry start. by noon we'll start to see a few showers and storms bubbling up on the east coast of florida. it's the same pattern we've seen for days so what that means, it takes a while before the moisture and energy really starts to build in our area.
4:28 am
will bring the showers and storms into our area beginning around 2:00 to 3:00. and by 4:00 becoming more widespread, a bit heavier through about 8:00 and then they will be tapering off as they move off-shore and we'll be dry overnight again. so the rain is most likely and will be heaviest between 2:00 in the afternoon and 6:00 in the evening today. if you're planning on heading to the beaches another gorgeous beach day with a lot of good dry hours in the first ha because the showers and storms won't reach the coast until about 3:00, maybe even as late as 4:00 so you've got pretty much the whole day to enjoy clearwater beach with a high of 90 degrees. we have to talk about tropical depression number six in the atlantic. it's not going to impact us. in fact it's a fish storm. it's going to be staying in the atlantic not bothering anything but the fish.
4:29 am
may likely become a named storm here over the next couple of hours even. 77 degrees now in tampa. 78 in new port richey. 79 st. pete. 75 lakeland. on average we should be starting around 76, just about on target with that. and the average high should be around 90. yesterday made it to 94. i think today, as long as the storms don't go right on top of tampa international before -- or before about 2:00 3:00 we're going to hit that high of 93. so a lot of heat again today, tomorrow and friday. again depending where the showers and storms set up you'll get a little cooldown but we'll all see temperatures near 90. with the humidity factored in we're going to feel close to 100 today. over the weekend the storms are going to be begin aing a little
4:30 am
