while. this is the apartment where it happened a. deadly shooting inside. several friends and family members have been gathering today forever support in this time. aubdale police were kale -- aur burndale police were called her and decided he was murdered. the family says some valuable electronics and jewelry were stolen from inside. would want to kill this young father with a 5-year-old daughter whofgs a friend to so many in this -- who was a friend in this community. >> everybody loved him. don't matter what race. you know, it didn't matter. he was always everybody's star, you know? so it's just -- it's hard to deal with because that's may baby brother. somebody i was supposed to protect and i wasn't here to

woman emily spice struck the vehicle. spice drove off but they caught up to her at 2nd avenue north. that's where she's accused of running over another officer's foot. he's okay. she faces several charges including battery on a law enforcement officer. a power in pasc county caes some major headaches. six traffic lights also that caused backups on state road 56. the e is still unknown but crews did restore power. friends and family gathered in jupiter at a memorial service for and wife. a student killed john and michelle in the garage of their home last week in a random attack. they found the 19-year-old biting off pieces of the husband's face. it planned before they -- it

but if not they will find them new homes. they took in 50 dogs and cats from other overpopulated shelters at home. a fundraiser is happening right now in palm harbor to help a congregation rebuild after a fire. jake peterson joins us live to tell us about this effort, jake? >> and good evening to you. this is the temporary building where church members have been gathering. this orthodox church. they've been here since 2014. that's when fire destroyed the original church. the congregation is having a festival right now hoping to raise funds. this is a picture actually of the building they yingo gefor this new grk church. they saidthat a greek architect actually designed this here. it's costing them $1.8.

president barack obama announcing he will visit baton rouge on tuesday. the white house saying he wants to get a look at the impact and to reassure the people of louisiana the country is behind them as they begin to rebuild. a jacksonville man is dead after being mauled by dogs. the 60-year-old was dragged along a fence. here you can see the holes where investigators believe the dogs got out.

taken the four dogs to animal control. the opener says the victim -- the owner says the victim must have provoked them. police have found a girl who was in a car when it was stolen. the driver left her alone for a minute but by the time he came back the car was gone along with the little girl and a small dog that was in it. police say the car both thegirl and dog are okay thief has been arrested. an ohio woman in trouble with the law. she stole an ambulance shortly after being released fr the hospital. tryi home. the metro bus was no longer running but she found a parked ambulance so she took it and took off. they found her using the gps system.
