way to i-4. back to you. time now 5:30. these four suspects accused of robbing and killing a young father are due in court for the first time today. >> investigators say adam hillary's murder came after a date with a woman he met on- line. abc action news reporter rodney dunigan is live outside the polk county courthouse now. >> investigators say this plan was well thought out. >> reporter: investigators say adam hillary took the woman apartment. she took note of what he had inside and then she alone with the three other suspects decided to go back to the home and rob him. all four suspects are behind bars here at the county jail. in a matter of hours they will be transferred across the street to the county courthouse. to face a judge for the first time. 18-year-old hailey bustos, josh quaellington, gary gray and andre warner are all charged with murder this morning.

plenty of fish. after casing his auburndale apartment investigators say she told the three men what was inside. they went back to the home, forcing hillary to his knees before shooting him in the head and stealing electronics from the apartment. the police report even stated that two of the suspects laughed at hillary as he begged for his life. family members say adam hillary was a good man. his pride and joy, his 5-year- old daughter. they are devastated by the loss. >> my more to us than what little stuff they wanted. i would like honestly for them to just -- understand, like, look, you made your decision, but i can say we don't come from family of hate. as far as me saying hateful words i'm not that person. >> reporter: investigators say all four of the suspects had been in trouble with the law before. crimes range from robbery to identity fraud. back here live, police also believe that these four could

hillsborough counties. documents not yet released to the public could help explain what kind of animal feeding activity is going on at disney world resorts. that information is very important after authorities shared their final report on the death of 2-year-old lane graves. in the report fwc says an alligator grabbed lane's head as he bit down at the edge of the lagoon at the grand floridian resort. there's an ongoing investigation into animal feeding at this spot as well as another disney the reports but tell us they are not available to be released to the public yet. we do know the report says that lane did nothing to provoke the attack. that means lane is the first person to die in an unprovoked gator attack in orange county since they started to keep track in 1948. that is according to florida fish and wildlife. only 400 unprovoked attacks total since that year. reports say in lane's case the alligator may not have feared

this morning we're uncovering a new crime trend determination are picking up on in two bay area counties. pasco county and hillsborough county deputies are saying burglars are targeting pickup trucks along the i-75 corridor. they say they've seen multiple break-ins in the past two weeks. eight of them were just on sunday alone at two hotels in pasco county. authorities say the thieves are breaking windows and in several cases getting away with guns. deputies say it's just one man to blame for serious amounts of the lee county sheriff's office says deputies uncovered 121,000 dollars worth of merchandise all from julio hernandez's garage in lehigh acres. all the merchandise from amazon packages. we're told hernandez is a driver for a transportation company. two bay area hospitals are teaming up to help keep kids healthy. 10:00 this morning florida hospital tampa and johns hopkins all children's hospital in st. pete will announce new

of stealing nearly $1,000 worth of newspapers for the coupons inside. police say the 25-year-old took about 160 bundles of newspapers earlier this month and gave them a third party that sells coupons in bulk around the area. the newspaper lost more than $950 in revenue as a result of the theft. so far though officials haven't released who the suspect sold them to. be careful what you click on, on facebook. a new airline scam could be popping up in your news feed. this faceb be a promotional offer from delta. >> that fake offer comes from a facebook account called delta air -- even has a delta logo as its profile picture. it claims to offer users first class tickets along with $10,000 in cash. but don't fall for it. it's a scam. the offer sends users to another web site that gets personal information from you. changes begin today, but we're transitioning back to a

summer afternoon thunderstorms which will cool us off but before that happens it will get very hot once again, had temperatures yesterday in the mid and even some upper 90s. the temperature in the shade -- heat index of course was 105 plus. i think we'll do that again today. titan doppler radar pretty quiet as you head to work or school. it's going to be dry. in fact through the early afternoon i think we'll be dry. this pattern that is setting up now with the northeast flow any time you get this, the storms tend to develop along i-95 and push towards tampa by late in what is going to be happening for today. the timing for that would be between 5:00 and 8:00, for the stronger thunderstorms. in fact on futurecast with the zoomed in shot you can see what happens here. everything starts going by 4:00, 5:00. then pushing towards the coast heading into the evening. once again the tropics pretty active but again the only system we have to watch, not fee-on-a, not gaston, it's something that hasn't developed

difficult to forecast something that is not yet there. as far as anything stronger than a tropical wave. it's an open wave, seeing thunderstorms now but we think it will develop. this is the general direction it will be heading in. so by the weekend we're somewhere around here into the bahamas. that is why it bears watching. obviously close to us by then. it should stay weak for a time but the issue is we've had the systems that approach the bahamas, they can really intensify quickly so just basically keep checking back with us, we'll forecast and we'll have a better idea of what kind of tropical system we'll be dealing with because i think we'll have to by late in the weekend and early next week. the intensity and exact track though still too early. 93 tampa today. 90 or so across the beaches. a little cooler but not much. 40% rain chances continue through the end of the week. this is just typical afternoon sea breeze summer thunderstorms. nothing unusual there. as we head to the traffic

cleared not quite clear. this crash in polk county in the lakeland area involves a semi. it will take a while to get it out of the road. i've been watching it. the picture not very clear to show you on tv. but i can show you exactly where it's happening on the maps. this is going to be the entrance ramp from county road 557 on to westbound i-4. you can see traffic still in the green so even though we have roadblocking here not really affecting the enter state you may want extra minutes if you're trying to get to i-4 from 557. i'll let you know here and of course on twitter as soon as that clears. checking cameras everywhere pretty much this morning. this is i-275 at hillsborough. traffic starting to pick up a little, just a couple minutes to get from here into downtown tampa. a quick check of the drive times on i-75 starting all the way back at the apex -- clicker is a little slow --
