a drone flies above the damage in italy. right now rescuers are digging through the rubble, hoping to find survivors after a deadly 6.2 magnitude earthquake. they pulled an 8-year-old girl alive from the rubble there. the quake killed more than 120 people we're hearing now near a rural area of central italy. but the damage is worst in remote areas, making it very difficult for rescue crews. escaped from the window. >> no family, no city will be left alone. >> this facebook live video shows collapsed buildings and rubble there. it is the second earthquake in seven years for this area. back in 2009, an earthquake killed 300 people. now to democracy 2016. donald trump making a stop in tampa today as he tries to take the lead in florida from hillary clinton.

trump firing back $5 million of his own ads. just into the news room, our first look at damage from a tornado near indianapolis. take a look. this person saying the storm took out a starbucks there. you can see all that is left is the giant sign. and here you can see the damage from the tornado as it hit an apartment complex. those in the area say items from their homes just thrown into the trees. so far no reports of any injuries. in the meantime here is a live look station. they're on the air live calling this a large dangerous tornado. a citrus county man facing charges accused of vandalizing a museum there. mclane caused about $1,000 worth of damage, even spray painting a monument. he says what he did was art. his bond was set at $17,000. in central florida tonight, deputies are ying to figure out what caused this damage

clouds. the rains rolled in this afternoon right on cue. most of them, not all of them but most of them are gone. there's a look at titan doppler radar. southern sarasota county it is popping right this second. we had the line roll through. things have quieted down and will stay quiet through the evening hours. same thing tomorrow and on friday. then we start to see subtle changes by the weekend and into early next week. or temperatures from the 80 in lakeland. at the airport, it's 87. sunny in st. pete and clearwater, mid to upper 80s. east to west flow. classic summer pattern means that the mornings are dry. the afternoons can get kind of stormy. same setup tomorrow and again on friday. so through the evening, you can never rule out an isolated shower. but most of the area stays dry. you will be waking up todry conditions first thing tomorrow

same thing. we're dry until about 2:00 or 3:00. then the rains linger until 7:00, 8:00. a little more moisture tomorrow and friday. coverage might be greater late afternoon and early evening. same thing on friday. start off dry and get storms late. no changes to the pattern until sometime later on weekend. then we have to turn our attention to this. we may have to turn our attention to according to the hurricane center. this is what we have been tracking. the models have been all over the place. when you get a european model that 12 hours ago goes western gulf of xico, 12 hours later takes it up the west coast of florida, that tells you it doesn't know yet. there's a reason why. there's no center here. look at this. it's a blob with maybe two or three possible centers trying to develop. so for a computer model to take point one and get a center and

it's impossible. so until we see this get organized -- and by the way, i say if we see this. as we have been saying, if this goes over the islands of haiti, it can physicianing the thing out entirely. it happened last year with erica. look at ray con. because we don't have a center or the actual storm, we simply don't have a tropical depression or storm. as i said, the models are all they're east and west. they're over. this is one of those stay tuned. the way you play this. you have nothing to worry about with the weekend plans for us. the earliest that anyone could be bothered is south florida sometime on sunday morning. talking about the differences in models. if you have watched me long enough, you know i'm a fan of the european model. the euro takes this up the west coast of florida. the u.s. model fizzles it out

direction. that's about all we know literally. right now, we don't even have a center of circulation. there's a lot of buzz going on. it's been 11 years since we have been hit by a hurricane in florida. we hope it will be another 11 years. but there is a potential for development. this could be a tropical storm or hurricane making landfall around the south florida area on sunday. is that set in stone? no recon is finding winds 50, 60 miles per hour. it's powerful enough. but the problem is there is no center. until there is, it is difficult for the computers to hint where it's going to go. they don't know where to start. garbage in, garbage out is what we say. makes the accuracy of the forecast limited. they are trending a little bit to the east over the last few hours. but for one. that has a bigger impact on the state of florida and the coast of florida. we will talk about that coming up. >> thank you, denis.
