surviving a deadly 2009 earthquake in italy. we're also learning more about victims killed in the american university attack in afghanistan. the death toll is now up to ten people after a nine-hour siege in the university of kabul. officials say seven of the dead are students, two police officers, and a security guard. many more are injured. the attack started last night with a suicide car bomb at the entrance to the university. it ended when police killed two attackers. in just a few hours,ed mayor is saying he doesn't want this festival back. rodney dunningan, could this be the end of all music festivals in tampa? >> it's quite possible. city leaders say it was simply out of hand. two people died. more than 60 others sent to the hospital, and city leaders are

sorts of issues to prevent them from happening across the city. the other events and problems were drug related. the mayer is on record stressing that events like this sunset music festival attract drug use. that along with the heat add up to the perfect storm of problems. this event also put a major strain on st. joseph's hospital with an enormous amount of calls which hampers their emergency work with other patients. this morning, department heads with police, fire, and the tampa sports authority will meet with the ci discuss concerns and ways thighs issues can be prevented going forward. they will also be looking at how other cities around the country handle these problems as well. of course the city council meeting kicks off this morning at 9:00 a.m. rodney dunningan, abc action news. u is. f campus police need your help right now. usf campus police need your help tracking down a flasher.

cars on the side of the road. they are still trying to figure out exactly what's going on. we'll talk more about drive times on i-4 coming up in just a bit. va documents just released show the man who shot and killed five police officers in dallas last month showed symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder. micah johnson returned home in 2014 but doctors say no threat to himself or others even after he sought treatment for hallucinations. he targeted the officers on july 7th after the fatal shootings of black men by police. there's major relief for the victims of the pulse nightclub shooting. they don't plan to charge anybody who received treatment after the attack that left 49 people dead. the hospitals are writing off 5.5 million in treatment and

paying it forward and kindness they received from people who reached out to them and supported them. it it's a huge relief to the victims and families. a shelter at home program with governor john bell edwards who says it will help people recover from the disasterrous flooding. fema is providing up to $15,000 to the flood victims. other programs are offering temporary housing including mobile homes. good thursday. we're looking at temperatures right now in the upper 70s to lower 80s with mostly clear skies. titan doppler radar is quiet right now. the thunderstorms continue to move in as they did yesterday with the northeasterly flow coming down to the south. if you drive up right heading to the turnpike, heading up to the i-10 corridor. it's much there with this pocket of moisture on top of us
