thousands of residents are still underwater falling hurricane hermine. they are urging some homeowners to pack up and leave. the emergency services dispatched within 300 workers. and, we walked with a team providing water and information. two communities are still under a mandatory evacuation notice. hurricane hermine may be long gone but financial devastation is still swirling. and, as ashley yore explains, a slow holiday weekend is not helping. >> businesses like this souvenir shop hit hard were forced to closed for several days. now they are back open, but they are not packing the beach like normal. hotels with rooms to spare, and open seats at lunchtime. it's our you expect to see any

riggins marched down that section saying they want answers. they say he was reaching towards his waistband and they thought that he may have had a weapon. the sheriff's office said there working with the state's attorney's office. right now -- right now the veterinary hospital is hoping that they can find can damage -- who damaged their sign. it looks like the person just ran right through. hospital staff says that they will have to replace the sign. police arrested two people for a pair of armed robberies earlier this morning. we are told that the suspects walked up to victims demanded their things and shot the guns in the air. one victim was pistol whipped that no one was shot. one of the suspects is a juvenile. they found guns on both suspects when they were arrested. this car was left on the

they say, that the bmw hit another car a 95 in the driver took off. it was later found on the train tracks. luckily, no one was injured. clearwater police make an arrest after early-morning stabbings. after a fight at the 7-eleven. the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. a pretty large fire at a florida and power plant. authorities are still trying to determine how much damage it caused. it took firefighters about an hour to get the fire under control. they're still trying to figure out how the transformer caught fire. hundreds of people were hoping for justice after an eight-year-old girl who shot in the head in miami. organizers hope that the justice for gina event will help them find the killer. she was waiting for her father

a man accused of threatening that community was arrested this weekend. he was arrested saturday for driving with a suspended license. on sunday he was charged with threatening communications. they believe that he is a man who posted on facebook that he was planning something bigger. investigation underway at one of the largest high schools at south carolina. they said they relieved -- received threats and muslim students would be killed tomorrow. they are patrolling that school today and there will be extra officers there tomorrow. a building collapsed killing two people. they say, that it was so big that it felt like an earthquake. that parking garage was under construction when it collapsed. no word yet on the cause. good samaritans helped rescue 26 people from a

the 63 foot fishing boat hit rocks and was taking on water. they say that a commercial boat went to the scene to rescue everyone on board they were taken to a coast guard station and returned to shore. an act of bullying goes viral. important item that was rear- ended in that act.

heaviest rain in the area is around northport and it's all heading for the northeast to the southwest. so, if throughout the night you are using your storm shield app and looking at the library door, we have a northeast to southwest flow. we know it's heading in that direction and it's moving across 75 and into the gulf. and as we look to the north we do still have rain here but /lightening up -- lightening up. so a couple more hours of the scattered showers and storms and we will be dry. temperatures are coming back up now that the rain has moved out. 82 in tampa, st. pete downtown is 80 available sunshine being reported. and, clouds are lingering in spots and the northeast winds

so no gusty winds after the storms roll through. so check out the next couple of hours. it showing a chance a few showers and storms and even at 8 pm we will see a chance for hit or miss showers. especially, close to 75 in the coastline. by the time we get to midnight we should be drying out. this model just updated about an hour ago and it is showing still but most of the area will be dry and when you wake up tomorrow morning you don't have to worry about any rain things are looking good. we will be waking up to a lot more sunshine. and with all that low cloud cover it was kind of a murky start. and through the afternoon things are looking good. the drier air starts to settle in and, through the afternoon maybe a shower to less than a 10% chance of seeing and

so if you want to get some yard work done, after the holiday weekend there will be plenty of sunshine and plenty of heat. storms are unlikely. so let's talk tropics. this is the remnants of hermine. and, it doesn't look like much anymore. we have two more batches of storms. one that is to the south of puerto rico with a 20% chance of developing and another of storms coming off the coast of africa about a 30% chance. in the great news is whether they developed or not. in things are looking good for either of them. -- and things are not looking great for any of them. so, for today, we made it to a high of 91 a little bit above the average.
