a court granting temporary custody of this 2 month old girl to her biological father. authorities confirming that her mother tested positive for cocaine and opiates. the baby was found in a car seat after a crash yesterday. the mother was found dead alive and the boyfriend unconscious inside the car. deputies say 22-year-old jefferson and 19-year-old jamie sanders and another guns, cell phones, wallets and cash from unlocked cars in mission hills. deputies say they even used stolen credit cards. deputies are trying to find the third accomplice. we're learning about more disturbing bee that he o'er from a former middle school science teacher in hillsborough county. geist strengthed the student to send neighboring -- instructed

polaris ranger sunday. it looks like the thief cut the fence to get in the property. officers are using fingerprints found at the scene to track down the thief. highway patrol troopers releasing new details on this crash that seriously damaged a funeral home. troopers identifying the driver as 55-year-old raymond myers of lake wales. they say he is still in serious condition tonight. troopers say myers suffered a medical episode on state road 60 and crashed into the funeral home yesterday. thankfully no lobby at the time of the accident. breaking late this afternoon, state health officials confirming six new cases of locally transmitted zika. all of them in sat florida. the number of cases in the state is up to 70. zika spending now tied to a government funding bill. florida senator marco rubio urging his peers today to pass the measure. >> i've been talking about this issue since january. and it's been frustrating to

outside right now, temperatures primarily in the 80s. some upper 70s where the rains outside in tampa, checking in at 87. 86 in clearwater. 84 in st. pete. there's the satellite picture. all is quiet across the west coast of the state. east coast isanother story entirely. as we said, there's a chance that the hurricane center says this could be a tropical storm or a tropical depression tonight and could issue tropical warnings on the east coast. no the moisture is going to be coming this way regardless. as the low pulls north, it's going to suck this moisture right along into it. because of that, overnight tonight, we're going to see some more rains develop. now, i'm not ready to say it will be widespread coverage. what i think happens, we're going to see a band 15 to 20 miles wide with heavrain. we are hopeful it won't be over pasco county.

we will have to watch. for the afternoon, the moisture continues and the low meanders in northern florida, maybe into georgia the next day or two, which continues to give us a southerly flow. it's a tropical moisture, rich connection. and the rain chances remain rather high. overall rainfall totals, clearly there will be spot that's pick up two to three inches of rain. if you look at the long range gfs, there's a lot of rain on the east coast. that's where the heaviest will be. we will average of 60 to 70%. tomorrow morning through the evening hours. on thursday, we see a little less coverage. by the weekend, actually more back to normal with more sunshine and less rain and rain chances by then at about 40%. >> thank you, denis. a man briefing the loss of his wife and son suffering another loss at tece. >> this is a sad story.
