at that man is 69 years old. ac a little bit after 1 pm, a healthcare professional called 911 saying that there was a suicidal man in a house, and that there were a number of weapons in that house. in hernando county deputy and sergeant. showed up. there telling me that one of those first responders tried to use what they called lethal means to get him into custody. emergency crews responded that person was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. the florida department of law enforcement has taken over the investigation. i can tell you that that deputy and the sergeant. have been placed on paid leave. as soon as we get more information, we will report that back to you.
