you're picking up decent rains. lightning over lutz the last ten minutes. this is beginning to wind down. although heavy rain from zephyrhills over to crystal springs. in fact this is getting heavier. as i have been saying for the lar d a half these have to fizzle out. they have to rain themselves ou they're not moving much. checthis out. over the last hour, they haven't moved hard lee at all. once the rains cool the air, then the storms lose their strength and they die out. if you live closer to the beach, things will be dry. anything that next few days, the odds are higher that they will be anterior as opposed to along the coast. last report, still a storm at the airport in tampa. 80s from clearwater to st. pete. over the last few days we've had the on shore flow. that means usually the coastal areas pick up rain in the morning. today and tomorrow and for that matter i think even into the weekend, the winds will be pretty light. so we're not going to have a lot of push either way. which means what will happen is

heating is high, where the atmosphere is a little unstable. and you pick up an isolated storm. in terms of where they're going to go, there may be a subtle drift back to the beach starting friday and into saturday. but you notice even on thursday, this is less rain out there. so your first day of fall will be hot and mostly dry. go figure, right? anterior counties, a little better chance of a few storms in the early evening hours. friday, more of the same. look at the coverage. not a lot to worry about. hopefully there's a lot on this weekend. while there won't be much rain at all close to the coast, you will have a few spots just like you did today from temple terrace, lutz into are going to pick up heavy rains. but the overwhelming majority stays rain free at least through the weekend. the tropics we've got karl and lisa. karl could pose a threat to bermuda. lisa poses no threat to anybody. we're looking at an area that may come off of africa in the next couple of days.
