days. there will be isolated showers and a lot of heat out there. right now the rains are winding down. tampa checking in at 88 degrees, as is clearwater and st. pete. rain coverage today only 15 to 20% of the area. most of that was around tampa and off to the east. i think this evening anything that does develop will be across polk county, hardee, desoto and highlands. bottom line, tomorrow, saturday, sunday, we will be dry until at least 2:30 or 3:00. now, the games. we will touch on that in a second. isolated showers in polk county around 9:30, 10:00. then they're gone. waking up to a sunny and warm day and dry with temperatures in the upper 70s. through the afternoon hours, nothing more than one or two scattered showers. about the same coverage as today. maybe even a little less as dry air filters in. along with the dry air comes

low 90s again tomorrow. normally we should be at 88. the normal high is going down. the afternoon highs keep going up for some reason. by 3:00 on saturday afternoon, that would be going into maybe the 4th quarter of the game, i think there's an isolated chance of a few showers around ray jay. outside of that, if you're going to the beach this weekend, you're good to go. and coverage won't be all that impressive either way. the tropics, we have karl and lisa. i have been talking about this area for three whatever is out there will track west. if it goes into the caribbean, that's somewhat of an issue for us in late september and october. because very often chronologically or historically the storms go in and curve up. not going to say it will happen. it is way down the road, like two weeks. but we need to watch it. the euro brings it into this area and the gfs also. it's nothing to worry about

sometime next week. look at that water temperature in clearwater, 88 degrees. there are your tides, sunrise and sunset. a look at florida's most accurate 7-day forecast. rain chances only 20%. sunday, a little better chance after about 4:00 or 5:00. and then into the weekend and early next week, about the same thing. high temperatures, that's going to be the weather story. upper 80s to around 90 degrees. maybe low 90s by saturday afternoon and again on sunday afternoon. like i said, the great place to go. the uv index between a 9 and 10. lots of sunshine to lunchtime. for the bucs game on sunday, partly sunny skies much there's a chance of showers in the second half with highs up near 90 degrees. >> thank you, denis. workers in south florida raising an unexpected safety concern tonight. >> a real concern. they're finding live ammunition and loaded guns in recycling bins. the solid waste department is
